what is wrong with AMZN

I am just a small book seller on AMZN since 2000,lately AMZN is giving me a hard time-
It said it has not heard from me for too long so I have to verify my account,I have to upload driver license,SS card,bank statement,then it sends me a verification mail to my residence address and I have to copy the 6 digit code and enter it online.
Both my bank statement and driver license cards have my address,but AMZN still want to make sure the address is real.by sending me a code via UPS?
What is the point?
That I live at the address?

Have you done had any buying weird activity that you can think of with the same account? Like too many returns or complaints? Just asking

No,I use the account for both buying and selling on AMZN.
But I am getting the feeling all sites are getting stricter now,could be the economy.
If you deposit a large amount into your bank account,it could take longer to clear,

Seems very odd - out of the blue. I'm just wondering if you did anything unusual you can think of that might have tripped flags resulting in this request
