| modzo | 12-06-2024 01:51 AM | Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank I’ve been issued disbursements, but none of them are reaching my bank account.
Aside from the IBAN, everything else is f*ke—the company name, address, the owner’s name etc.
Amazon provides me with a TRACE ID and insists that the funds have been sent, saying there are no reverse transactions. Yet, the money never shows up in my account.
The bank says they can’t see any of the funds and that the TRACE ID is useless to them.
I feel completely stuck. https://i.ibb.co/s21mRYL/Screenshot-...-06-064332.png |

| modzo | 12-06-2024 11:38 PM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank I tried two different banks—one in Lithuania and one in Ireland—but none of the money reached either account.
The sales are only from german marketplace, so everything is in Eurozone.
This is a fresh Amazon account I created using stealth, so I haven’t had any successful disbursements yet. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 12-06-2024 11:40 PM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank are you sure you used actual banks and not companies that provide virtual bank accounts for business? |

| modzo | 12-07-2024 01:58 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank Yeah, they work fine with other accounts.
This is a new account set up as a company in Lithuania. I’ve submitted detailed bank statements, and everything is verified.
Amazon only gives me a Trace ID, which, from what I can tell, is useless to both banks I’ve tried. Lithuanian bank said they need SWIFT/transfer copies, while the Irish bank told me they don’t trace transfers at all—it’s something the sender (Amazon) has to handle.
I’m completely stuck and don’t know how to move forward. |

| murdered_by_ebay | 12-07-2024 02:49 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank I would not be surprised if this is a new scheme from amazon where they intentionally keep the funds without telling the seller
if I were you I would not do any significant volumes on new amazon accounts but would let them run for small amounts which I would increase slowly , this would also create a withdrawal history
I see your screenshots show about 3500 euros made within 10 days on a brandnew account right before christmas. I think this is the reason why it has not arrived
if it were ebay they would already have suspended you and would refuse to pay out after 6 months. ebay are honest though , they would tell you immediately what your future looks like |
| murdered_by_ebay | 12-07-2024 12:08 PM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank transfers do not hang forever , if it is unclaimed by the bank it would return , amazon is the more likely perpetrator here |

how is it possible to try the same money TWICE?
If AMZN said it has sent the money to the first bank, then there is no money left to send AGAIN to another bank?
Or they are 2 AMZN disbursements?
I would say the problem is on your end, both Ireland and Lithuania are members of EU,it should not have any problem clearing thru a central bank and the amount is in Euro.
Why not ask your banks,do they ever refuse an incoming deposit and what are the reasons for doing so? |
First, I tried the first two disbursements with the Lithuanian bank, but they didn’t go through. I thought the issue might be with the bank, so I switched all disbursements to an Irish bank. That didn’t work either, so I even tried using a different account within the Irish bank, but that failed too.
As you can see from the screenshot I sent earlier, there’s no Trace ID when it should normally be included—I had to specifically request it from the custom support.Something just isn’t adding up. |

But you may initiated the request,it is AMZN which did the actual sending of your fund,so if it said it has been completed, then your AMZN seller account should have zero balance?
Now it sounds like the money was still in your seller account after failing to reach your Lithuian bank, then you tried Irish bank .
Paypal has similar problems -
Whether it is foreign or domestic transfers,if Paypal sent the fund and the bank did not get it,it is somewhere in limbo,it could be in some Paypal suspense account and it does not know how to credit back to the your Paypal account ,it could be the return payment did not have the explicit paypal sub account ,dont forget the banks deal with Paypal ,not with a Paypal subaccount,so the return transaction may just say Paypal and no further details like john doe,Paypal account xxyyz.,it is up to Paypal to find out which sub account should it credit?
This could also happen to AMZN,banks around the world deal with AMZN,not AMZN sellers, | The balance is being deducted as if the transfers were successful.
I had about 10k in balance in the begging, and 4k was supposedly transferred, leaving me with 6k remaining. However, I’m not initiating any more disbursements because I don’t want the money to end up stuck somewhere again. |

is there any other way to get the money out?
Like Paypal,I think we can still ask for a bank check or money order?
Is your Lithuanian bank a member of VISA EUROPE? | the question is silly , thousands of euros do not just disappear , it has to be connected to the turnover , making 10K on an account that never made anything in the past is brave but dangerous. it is very well possible that this crazy turnover made the account suspicious as a new seller would unlikely be able to start out like that |
| murdered_by_ebay | 12-07-2024 05:46 PM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank on this account he received nothing according to his own post |
| modzo | 12-08-2024 01:36 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank I haven’t received anything so far. The money seems to be stuck somewhere between Amazon and the bank.
The only obvious issue that comes to mind is a name mismatch. The IBAN and SWIFT codes are correct, so that shouldn’t be the problem. |

My experience is that you should see the rejection from your bank transaction statement if bank refuse to accept the payment. otherwise it's more likely something goes wrong with amazon side. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 12-11-2024 02:57 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank banks can not hold payments indefinitely , usually they return payments which could not be credited and in case of large payments they may also contact the recipient regarding the problem. if it is still missing it has to be amazon playing games |

In the meantime, I’m stuck between both sides, with each claiming it’s the other’s responsibility to track down the issue. |
| modzo | 12-18-2024 10:19 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank So, here’s what happened today: I got all the funds back into my account with a message saying, “We could not transfer funds to your bank account because the account information on file is invalid. Please update your bank account information.” |
| murdered_by_ebay | 12-18-2024 10:43 AM | Re: Missing Disbursements: Stuck Between Amazon and My Bank in this case you need to make sure the bank details do not have a problem , for example whether the same type of account works elsewhere
if the problem is not in bank it is better to stop sales on this accounts for now |

if the problem is not in bank it is better to stop sales on this accounts for now | Yeah, something definitely seems off with Amazon. I’ve tried two different legitimate banks and three different accounts, but I still can’t transfer anything. It might be an issue with the names not matching. On all my other Amazon accounts, this was never a problem, but now, with this new one, it suddenly is.
Another thought: the ownership on this Amazon account is under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ business, but I’m trying to transfer funds into a legitimate personal bank account. That might be what’s causing all the trouble. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:35 AM. | |
