Activity: 0% Longevity: 78% | | Maximum amount to withdraw from Amazon
What is recommended?
I have 4 stealth accounts that are about 30 days old, and they're going to be receiving a hefty amount of money after some serious selling. ($2,000-$4,000 each)
How much would be safe to withdraw?
I can't leave the money in there for too long in case I get my account limited or blocked.
And I really need the money.

How you were able to push 2k-3k in 30 days is a mystery to me. You are in a tricky situation. If you request withdraw that may raise a flag and your account may go into review. If you let the settlement date of your withdraw go automatically (every 14 days) you fly under the radar but risk a review for the waiting time.
Any one else have suggestions?

Does Amazon transfer automatically every 14 days for all items sold during that time or does it pay 14 days after every sale?
For example, if I sell something today, I won't get the money to my account until 14 days have passed and then if I sell another item tomorrow, does that money also have to wait 14 days or just 13?

withdrawals do not matter
you need to worry about volume of money coming in from sales
Spread your sales out, and build it up slowly over time
Generally less than 1 thousand a month is bullet proof, less than 500 a month is golden
How do you overcome low volume? Quantity.....

Ok, well what if I wanted sell my laptop right now on Amazon? And its my very first item I sell. I would want around $1100 for it. Would Amazon really consider this as a suspicious sale?
Also, when withdrawing money, does it happen every 14 days (twice a month?) Or how do you withdraw money? I understand that you can request to withdraw every 24 hours, but as someone said, it would seem too suspicious.

It will withdraw the total amount available into your account. I let it withdraw on it's own and have success from that method.

If PP withdraw's raise red flags and trigger the system from time to time, why wouldn't Amazon? Amazon's technology seems to be on a higher caliber than PP's, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know this for a FACT, but I have to believe that trying to withdraw that kind of money on a new account will red flag it for review (and that may happen anyway). I am careful about the velocity limits, but when I have gone over, usually what happens is I get the email that the payment is on the way, then the next day I get the 30 day review email. Of course, the money never makes it into the bank.
You may not have anything to lose, though. Normally, any new account that goes over $750 in sales in the first couple of months goes into a 30 day review.
Trying to think logically, maybe you SHOULD try to withdraw the money. Either it will work, or the account will go into the 30 day review. If it goes into review, the funds will be held during the review period. If you don't pass the review, tack on 90 more days. But the quicker either of those things happens, the quicker you get your money.
Or am I missing something here?

I don't know why you let it build up that high anyway , I used to disburse my money every day or every other day, and this worked out to be 100-150 increments, never had probs - at least not with that
then if they do decide to sit on your money , it is only 100 bucks, which hurts a lot less
start getting that money down slowly

Well Amazon the strategy is different. You only have to wait 120 days for money when your account is frozen.... I just blow through the limits, make 5 grand in a weekend, and just wait a few months to get paid. Paypal on the other hand is different....
most people however, don't want to plan on getting limited/suspended, so that's when you spread your sales out.
Amazon is much more strict with sellers, yes, but it's a different business model than ebay. Only new things are allowed to be sold.... ebay was originally intended to be an auction site, and still sort of is.... | The Following User Says Thank You to First Edition For This Useful Post: | |

@First Edition - 90 days
My last disbursement - if i recall correctly - there was no "XXX" amount you can select to withdraw - it's all or none. So if you have $3k to withdraw, that's what is disbursed.
If you have not had a review block period then that should trigger it. If you have undergone a 30 day review, then you should be fine.

Ok, well all Im doing is selling a used Macbook Pro 15". I want $1300 for it. If/when I sell the laptop, and I let Amazon withdraw the money on its own, without requesting a manual disbursement, you think I will get redflagged?
I can wait 14 days for the money. But I seriously cannot wait 30.
Also, my account is new-ish about 10 days old but I already sold something and I have a 5 star rate on my account. If I sell my laptop before the disbursement date, would the money get transferred with out any fuss? What do you guys think?

That behavior fits their model for potential fraud, so maybe you need to put the macbook up on Craigslist ?

Ok, so if they put my account through the 30-day review, is there a possible chance I could get reviewed a second time even though I passed the first review?
Is there a way to "manually" trigger the 30-day review?
