OK... Here is another one from the WSJ. This is FAR more likely to succeed. The government and businesses are interested in LESS privacy, not MORE privacy.
Since doing my research for Amazon Ghost, I have NoScript running 24/7 now. It's not a save all but it does disable a lot of what tracks you as you browse the web.
Does that work for you? I've found a lot of those things counter productive in that by disabling some of what they have to identify you, you become more unique.

It's a valid concern.
I think there is a website out there created by one of the electronic privacy groups, that attempts to estimate the level of uniqueness of your browser profile.
