Default International Amazon Sites

Hi

Just wondering whether it's possible to use a bank account that was used on a suspended account, to start up another Amazon account in another country?, are they likely to track me?

Probably. But most international Amazon sites are worthless. I think the UK one has a lot of buyers, but I tried selling on Canada and didn't get a single sale. You also need a local bank account for the international accounts, I'm pretty sure.

Well I tried Amazon DE and the problem was I sold too much and they suspended me!, the margins are much bigger due to weak pound.

Also they have opened up their borders, you can sell in UK if you have US bank account and vice versa. I have an Amazon.com account, not using it much right now though. Same goes for Germany, France, Japan etc

Interesting. When I signed up for Amazon.ca, they demanded a Canadian bank account, which can only be had by going to Canada and signing up for one in person. Granted, this was about a year ago. Are stealth accounts hard to set up in Germany? Why not try there again?

Ok it's good that I saw this because I was just about to start another thread along the same lines... You see I have some books in Japanese that are only listed on Amazon.co.jp but apparently it's not even worth it to try?

It's simple. Just go to Amazon.de and register using all your US details as you would if you were opening a US account....name, address, bank account, etc all same. I doubt that you even need to go stealth, I was suspended on Ebay UK, but still able to sell on DE, .com, .fr etc using same details.

Ghost I have a Japenese account, thanks to Google translate .

I haven't logged in in ages, hope I haven't sold anything or else by now i'll be suspended!, I can't even remember the email I registered with lol

I have to think of a niche product to sell on Amazon.co.jp, something they can't get enough of, won't try cameras lol.

Maybe whalemeat!

Thanks for the fast response, sasasasa!
Anyway, when I am trying to register, it's giving me a drop down list with german or austrian bank account only...

Any advice?

Ok tell you what, I think it's best to do it from within your Amazon UK account(maybe that's the way I did it before I can't remember)

Here's the link to the page you want

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=help_search_1-1?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200280850&qid=1294092044&sr=1-1
and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=help_search_1-1?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200280850&qid=1294092044&sr=1-1
Edit: Don't know if these links work for you, not for me lol. If not just go to help and search 'sell on amazon de'

Ok, the link doesn't work for me (US), but if you Google "Amazon.co.uk Help: Sell Your Stuff on Amazon.de", then the page you wanted to show me, comes up as nr.1 in the SERPs.
Anyway, during the registration the same thing happens, I have the option only for German or Austrian bank account. I even switched to a German proxy, but the result was the same.
There is a picture of what I get: Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting.

Thanks for your time, man!

Ah sorry I forgot you're in the states. Hmmm, well being in the UK I have successfully set up account in Japan, France, Germany etc. I'm wondering if there is some restriction on selling on Amazon.de for US people, can't imagine why. Seen US marketplace sellers on .co.jp just now.

What you could do is try and sign up for say Japan, or France etc, and see if it gives you the option to add a US account there, that way you know it's Germany that's the problem. I know you can sign up for Amazon.co.uk.

Bit stumped here, I did a Google search and could see no reference to US sellers on DE

Do you actually speak all those languages? I see that Amazon.fr and Amazon.jp are English-friendly, but aren't you required to be able to answer questions in the buyers' language?

Really? Sounds good. But did you create a stealth account or just sign up the normal way? How long you been selling without being recognised?
If i sign up, everything is going to be the same. Ip, mac, phone number, address. Will they know?

Thanks a lot.
