Default Will Amazon never release money after 90 days???

Hi all,
First of all, Merry Christmas for all here.
Today, I can't sign in my Amazon account, I request password but Amazon note:
"You account has been inactive for too long. Please contact us for additional steps and to verify your identity"

Ok, I have contacted and receive email:
"Thank you for writing about your selling account.

We regret that your account has failed our review process. Your account has been closed and you are no longer eligible to sell on our site.

Please note that we will be unable to correspond further about this situation.

The blocking of your account is a permanent action. We take such steps in the interest of maintaining a free and fair venue for all participants."

I have email to: payments-funds@amazon.com for status of my money but not receive any reply.

So I have a question: Amazon will hold money forever? Will not release after 90 days??? have anybody there not receive money from Amazon after 90 days?

Thank alot for sharing
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

So if your account was inactive for too long how could it have had money in it? They automatically transfer payments to your bank every 14 days. When was the last time you used the account? How old was the account?

I had Amazon do that to one of my blocked accounts a while back.
I emailed them and the deposit was in my bank in about 97 days after it was blocked.

There is no phone number to call, you have to hit the button then Amazon will call you back. You can email them but again, you are hitting a button to do so. You may need to be logged in for both of these options

Here is the customer service number for Amazon, good luck~

If all of these accounts were from the same IP address then I could see Amazon doing something like that.

having 30 accts i would think you would know more as the average person does not even know how to make and maintain anywhere near that.

That sounds scary, I thought it's impossible for them to keep your money, unless you are selling something illegal.

Is this really true guys? I have about $5k in my Amazon Account, since I have sold some stuff while being under review. I am currently waiting for my review to expire in the next days, since it's been almost 30 days since the review started.

Hi, I have the same problems, 30 over accts were deleted couldn't log in I guess because they were linked somehow, no one ever replied emails, and some of the accounts were suspended over 3 months. when I emailed or called, they would just say my account is hold because of an order and I need to verify my credit card information? I've only sold and never ordered anything.. They asked for my address and bank #, but no one ever replies back... Anyone knows if and when I can get back my $?
Thanx

Sorry to hear that. Might not hurt to check the unclaimed funds online at your State Controllers Office if you haven't already done so.
Paypals agreement states they send the monies to the persons State after 2 years (or the State of Delaware), not sure how Amazon handles it

California State Controllers Office requires a Social Security number to redeem monies owed

Thus no re-couping monies from Stealth Accounts Just thought of it

You guys are simply wrong. I wish you guys wouldn't make stuff up until you have confirmed it.

I had a stealth account go down with a little over 800 in it.

9 Sales all items shipped with delivery confirmation added.

I received an email that I had been suspended so I went to add my bank account to it, and what do you know, Amazon had deleted my aco****.

I didnt know this at the time, and went through resetting my password several times, with the confirmation email that my password had been changed however I still couldn't login.

At this point, I was like WTF?

So I call Amazon Seller Support, of course all I could get anyone on the phone to say was it had been assigned and was under investigation and I would be contact via email or phone by an account specialist within 24-48 hours.

After several days of this not happening, I call again and ask to speak to the supervisor, he informs me once again, the account is under investigation, and he only has contact with that department via email and he will take my information and pass it along once again.

So I finally receive an email back from someone here is what it said.

Quote:
Hello from Amazon.com.

Thank you for writing about your selling account.

We regret that your account has failed our review process. Your account has been closed and you are no longer eligible to sell on our site.

Please note that we will be unable to correspond further about this situation.

The blocking of your account is a permanent action. We take such steps in the interest of maintaining a free and fair venue for all participants.

In which I emailed back asking about the funds in my account. Letting them know that the orders had been shipped, and they could not hold money for items I have rightfully sold and shipped.

They responded with:

Quote:
Greetings from Amazon.com.

Thank you for contacting us. The funds currently in your selling account will be transferred to your bank account after the 90-day period has expired, provided we do not receive charge backs or A-to-Z Guarantee claims against your sales.

As you know, your account will be evaluated 90 days after the initial date of block or closure request, which was February 18, 2011.

We will issue a check for your remaining funds on or after May 19, 2011.

Best regards,

Payments Specialist
http://www.amazon.com
In which I responded that they had blocked and deleted my account before I was able to add a bank account to my account.

I have since responded and asked if they could add my bank account to the account. I will update you with there response.

So just because your account has been deleted, does not mean you will never see your money.

Be patient, as you must with doing stealth accounts.

Keep your spreadsheets updated, so you can track your accounts.

Theres no LEGAL way they can keep your Money.
