Ok guys so I lost all my accounts this past weekend, due to no fault of mine. They weren't linked so to say but because all my IPs had the first two 3 sets of numbers being the same, they deleted all the accounts with those first 2 numbers in common. Take caution with your ip ranges as it seems they need to be totally unique.
Now that that's been said, I'm thinking of going with a virgin mobile dongle simply because they offer unlimited even tho it is cappe after 5 gigs. Any input or advice?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
When you tether you still have to change your MAC Address, not sure if you know this, or not.
You can only tether a cell phone to one account only, once blocked you can't use it anymore, so it's only good for 1 amazon, and good for tons of ebay accounts.
Axcend like I said IP cannot get you suspended because the first two sets are the same. There's still thousands of combinations possible even with the first two sets the same.
Red is right on, Your iPhones mac address is what linked you. Sure you can change your computers mac, but not your phones mac...

Hello there I don't think the first 2 sets(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ) is a problem at all. Cause amazon may ban all Ip rang blockes alocated with ISP . Haha! You can use VPN servise or Hight anonymous US proxys with many dedicated IPs witch not leak your mac address and http forwarded traffic. Otherwisw if you want to use your own dynamic IPs better to do mac clone into the router if you have DSL connection .But for Iphone I did not have any experiance.
Do Internet dongles have Mac addresses? And if so, how do you go about changing them? ThanksB
Meant to make this a new thread
Each dongle you buy has it's own mac address, in terms of changing the mac address on them thats also possible, however you have 2 options:
First option:
You can buy cheap dongles these days.
I used to buy dongles in fact and sell them, i found that each different type of dongle i bought had a different mac address. If you decide to go for this option, make sure it's not the same type of dongle as the one you have currently as they sometimes have the same mac,
Second option:
This is actually a great tool you can edit you mac address from it, works fine (Desktop machine, no wireless card, USB Bluetooth dongle), I managed to change my MAC address without any hassle in the past, Run the program, fill your desired MAC address and push CHANGE. That's all.
There maybe other options but i think these are your best two for now.
IP with selling the EXACT items paired with other things I can see that but IP alone NO WAY man. Perhaps you slipped once and you we all know thats all it takes.
If you decide to go for this option, make sure it's not the same type of dongle as the one you have currently as they sometimes have the same mac,
Unlikely. MAC addresses are supposed to be entirely unique. Sure I suppose a duplicate is possible, but not likely, especially on a network device like a dongle.
Axcend, how were you changing the MAC on your iPhone (what method)?
