Default Question about formatting computer for amz ebay

Just wondering if instead of reformatting the hard drive everytime for a new account can you just delete cookies and search for dropped files and change the name of the computer? or is it better to just format. The formating
does tear up the hard drive after a while. Just wondering...

Re-formatting a hard drive does not damage to it.

Use vmware

And reformatting does wear down the hard drive plates but they are designed to last for millions of rewrites. A normal person will not outlast a hard drive under normal conditions. Yes hard drives do fail but that's because people abuse them with lots of gforces from moving them too harsh. And its usually the spinning engine that always gives out.

I don't think anyone has ever "worn out" a HD that was not defective in some ways, or abused physically, lol.
EVEN if that was a problem, you can buy a more than usable drive for $20 on Craigslist, etc.

Use vmware....don't try and re-invent the wheel.

Though SSD's (MLC) actually wear out faster than a hard drive.

The ONLY Drawback that I have Ever Read Solid State Drives Have is Price and Capacity. Single Level Cells (SLC) SSD's have Higher performance but much lower capacity than Multi Level Cells (MLC) SSD's But Everything that I have read says they both types od SSD's Out perform and Out last their HDD Counterparts,,,
