Default FBA removal question when having multiple accounts

Does amazon see which address you send your goods back to...for example if you use the same address to send back the returns from lets say 5 different seller accounts....

Basically i wanted to know if they go that in depth

What do you mean - if you e-mail the buyer the address to send to?

no, I think he is asking about removing inventory from FBA from AZ and shipping it back to him, because it doesn't sale, got damaged, or some other issue.
Am I correct ceilos456?

Amazon do see the shipment address when requesting the removal of FBA product.

I can't say for sure but would think that AZ can see that address. The process goes that when you request the return AZ asks if you want to be shipped back to the address that is on your account or add another address.
I should be hard for AZ bots to scan those address and check against banned ones.

I have 2 items sitting in AZ warehouse that were marked "damaged during shipping" and i'm not risking with my address. So far it just sits there.

In the long run, it's safer to request that the products you have there are destroyed - it costs a little more but you do not run the risk of linking.

Ah I see - 4 accounts - yes take steps to avoid linking. Would not suggest changing address on the Az site then.

Have it returned to different addresses. Use friends' addresses or business addresses you have access to.

Have you considered package forwarding services, you can always change the address on fba,

Look for services that include U.S.A address, email notification, and dashboard permissions so you may track your packages and what not,

On Amazon sellers forums, I read from a group of people that were successful doing this,

Do some research before anything always,

I tried a risky experiment with one of my FBA stealth accounts. I had FBA return some items from the stealth account to another accounts mailing address and the two accounts were never linked.

I will look into it, but our returns are usually a pallet worth. Will they still be able to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Did you recently do this?

What was the end result? Did they link them?

thanks

It was in November 2012. After thinking about it, I should make a correction to the above. When I requested removal of the FBA return, it should have gone to the PO Box which was on file with the stealth account. Instead, Amazon sent it to the address on file with one of my older FBA accounts, and I was surprised that the two accounts were never linked.

That's kind of weird. How would they even get that address if yu listed PO box on your stealth ?

I was very surprised too when the box was returned to my home address and not the stealth PO Box. I am expecting to see anything when Amazon is involved.
