Are you able to change ip addresses with modems that have a router in one?
I was able to change the ip of the one in my apartment that have a seperate router and modem. However at the other location where the router
and modem is one unit... i'm having a hard time and don't seem to be able to change it?
Being able to change your IP usually depends on your service provider. Some may not let you do it.
Try powering the modem/router combo off for awhile and then plug it back in and see if you get a new IP. Or, you can try to change the MAC address on the router/modem which may let you get a new IP.
