Tony, were are you finding additional information about the chargeback? I can not find any more info on mine.

No, it just hang in there and said pending twice for the same item.

Re: Chargeback claim

Yeah, I had the same problem last year that got my account suspended. Only difference was the 2 chargebacks were not at same time. Some people out in California ordered a $250 iPod speakers system from me. Tracking showed delivered. Month later I get a chargeback buyer says not received. Then a megative feedback. After a real long time - I forget now - maybe 2 month - I finally win the claim. Then, same people open another chargeback for the same order. I couldn't believe this was even possible. I called CS and said how is this allowed? I thought buyer only has 60 days to file a claim. They said no - I forget the explanation - but I think they said it can be much longer depends if the issuing bank accepts it or not.

So apparently buyers can file multiple chargebacks at any point in time. Issuing bank doesn't really care. They just go thru the motions and hit the chargeback button.

Just like what's happened to OP the chargeback said "pending" for a real long time. I think it always says pending while it is investigated. Then eventually account was suspended.

I had a competitor buy two items, filled two bs chargebacks with false reason and amazon rules against me. Even though the customer refused to send the products back to me

:nono: Does not seem fair at all. Cant believe Amazon counts it as two. Seems like a rewrite in policy is needed. Hopefully soon.

Also makes me sick how easy it is to file a chargeback. For as much as I have used my cards in my life, I have ever filed 3 charge backs. I lost 2 out of 3!

Makes me sick!

@user3657, you LOST a chargeback claim of yours?!? Mind if I ask which service - I am assuming Amazon but could be wrong...it's odd to me - especially when placed with your CC provider.

These days it is not automatic that a chargeback will go in favor of the person.
