Some people out in California ordered a $250 iPod speakers system from me. Tracking showed delivered. Month later I get a chargeback buyer says not received. Then a megative feedback. After a real long time - I forget now - maybe 2 month - I finally win the claim. Then, same people open another chargeback for the same order. I couldn't believe this was even possible. I called CS and said how is this allowed? I thought buyer only has 60 days to file a claim. They said no - I forget the explanation - but I think they said it can be much longer depends if the issuing bank accepts it or not.
So apparently buyers can file multiple chargebacks at any point in time. Issuing bank doesn't really care. They just go thru the motions and hit the chargeback button.
Just like what's happened to OP the chargeback said "pending" for a real long time. I think it always says pending while it is investigated. Then eventually account was suspended. |
