Default Amazon Review Fail

Howdy peeps,

So things were going slow and steady and well for a while and then due to some listing of season items, there has been a mad rush of sales. In order to stop the velocity limit being reached and to stop the ole flags on AZ I reduced the stock quickly to curb it but sadly I was too late and although all orders are now fulfilled and there's been no more come though I got the ole review fail email which in summary goes like below:

Greetings from Amazon,

Your selling activity did not pass the review process. As a result, you can no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk, you offers have been removed etc etc.

...

If you like to sell on Amazon.co.uk, please send us more information about your business. To do so click the appeal button, In your appeal be sure to include all applicable information listed under the "how to expedite an account review"

Now I found this topic on the forum which looks pretty good. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/amazon/...nt-review.html

However what I wanted to ask is...is this post still relevant and up to date or is there any "updates" that I need to consider? Is this email of the review by AZ relevant to this post or am I toast *again* Also what is the best thing to say to some of these questions below?

Az wants:

How long I've been in business - Do I be honest and say its a new (since the stealth account began) or do I exaggerate?

Sources of inventory - No issue here except I can't provide invoices as they have my real name and address on them and not the stealth details which would obviously link me so do I just provide supplier name/addresses?

Anticipated month sales on AZ - I'm not planning on doing much for a while and happy to bring in about £500-£700 per month. Does this sound reasonable?

Availability of items for shipping - All items are in stock so not problem here

Retail location addresses - Was just going to give the stealth address as its a town centre location too?

Links to other websites you are actively selling - Don't think I should give any?

Dispatched order's tracking information - no problem here I can provide some

VAT number - I am VAT registered but not the stealth so Ill make out were not VAT registered as yet or is this a bad idea?

Thoughts on the above welcome.

Your approach seems fine - dont need to give other websites. Just be clear and professional

What was the Velocity limit you reached? I didn't think Amazon.co.uk had set velocity limits any more.

I dont think they publicise them, just that any dramatic increase in sales will cause a flag

@tmastermind, it really can vary from account to account (review limit).

Get that appeal in and best of luck

How old is the account?

I have a couple of suggestions to make.

Before submitting the appeal, read over these couple of sites which relate to amazon europe....

WARNING AMAZON LINKS

Amazon.co.uk Help: Velocity Limits and Account Reviews

AND

https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....messageID=8636

Really know what is expected of you for the appeal.

Good Luck

Not that old which is why I can understand the review failed, its basically due to the extra rush of unexpected sales and then fb ratio. I regret listing the extra items but had no idea they would be this popular otherwise would of waited for a bit more history to stay under the radar.

Thanks for the links, checked em all along with some others and this forum so defo know what to say now and I guess its just a case of waiting up to 30 days and waiting to hear back from AZ...

Appeal is all in the carefully selected wordings.

Avoid bull dust.

Simple facts.

Good Luck

Default Game over

To quote Bill Paxton from Aliens "Game over man!"

Account is gone.

Spend your time building a new account and not trying to salvage this one.

Just my .02 worth.

this account can definitely be recovered, as long as you have no negs or A-Z a good appeal should get the account reinstated.

Yup I have no negs or A-Z cases in fact all my feedback is 5/5. Just need more of them really esp now the new lot of sales came in. Still I have now emailed all recent customers to promote for feedback so if this comes in, it should make my review easier to pass (crosses fingers).

my advice to you.

Talk to them about how important selling on Amazon is, how much you are attracted to Amazon because of their reputation for customer service, and how this fits in with your own commitment.

Tell them about how you plan your logistics, how you will ensure all orders will arrive on time

talk about quality control processes and what you do to ensure everything that goes out of the door is perfect

if you have photos of your stock, take some photos with your Amazon user name on a piece of paper to show you are physically holding the stock

blow a little smoke up them and say how honoured and pleased you are to be doing business with such a respected brand and how much you want to be a brilliant representative of the Amazon experience

do the above and you should pass the review.

Have a bucket beside you for throwing up in afterwards too.

That said, your approach is one that can work.

Exactly - learn via trying and then report back and teach the forum with the experience learned.

Default Re: Amazon Review Fail

Update

I put in my review and sure enough after 24 hours had passed i got my answer...

Fail

Even after blowing smoke up their arses and even getting 10 5/5 glowing feedbacks since the review failed, they still didn't re-instate me. I so hate Amazon its so unfair if I was someone not using stealth it would be disaster but....I do know stealth So its of no real consequence, 90 days ill get some money (around £350).

Not going to bother now though in creating a new stealth as AZ are funny around this time of year shame but id rather start a new stealth next year when things have calmed down and there not so picky

Rough to hear tmastermind - that whole appeal process is really hit or miss at times - luck of getting a manual response by an agent.
