Well, all I can say is that I experienced exactly what I discribed.

Maybe my situation was different though.
Did not sell in the US but on Amazon Europe.

As I said, I could reset the password "successfully" but still couldn't log in.
And I kept recieving orders and messages (and my listings also were still there).

Was that 100k or 900k? in either case, I would never give up, try to fight for it until the last breath.

Just over £100k and you have to give up. The original £30k spent on lawyers would have made £30k profit if stock was bought instead of lawyers fees. Amazon have excellent lawyers who can argue for months requesting details, questioning answers even before you can even get a Court date. In life you have to make hard decisions and commercially it was time to quit and use my energy to make money.

Bear in mind, amazon makes the rules.

When an account is created that is the acceptance of the seller to agree to their T&C.

This does not imply amazon are right.

Getting the same here with around £8k in an account, Is there really in T&C that they can just lock people out like this?

No way around it at all?

Just move on, forget the £8k, not easy I know, but use the loss in your accounts and this reduce your tax liability. Basically amazon get the funds and not HMRC.

Really sad to hear of this practice Amz are using.

Does it make any difference if an account was stealth or real as to whether a greater chance of getting the funds back?

Also, does a deletion usually come immediately after the initial suspension email or after waiting the 90 days?

Hi eBay King, no stealth or real make no difference.

No from my experience the account is either deleted or suspended from the outset. If suspended you can always appeal. Deleted accounts you cannot access the account. Deleted accounts usually happen to people who sell counterfeit items,people opening accounts time and time again and getting linked and fraudulent transactions.

It's heart breaking to hear your answers but that money was all i had. Today i received an email from payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk.

Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,

Thank you for writing to us. Due to the status of your account your funds are reserved until we are sure all items have shipped and no A-z Guarantee claims are received against your account. Your account will be evaluated 90 days after the date of your account closure, which was 17.04.2014.

For enquiries regarding why your account was blocked, please contact seller-performance@amazon.co.uk.

“7. Notwithstanding the provisions of clause B.6.4, if we reasonably conclude, based on information available to us, that seller's actions and/or performance in connection with the Service may result in disputes, chargebacks or other claims, then we may in our sole and absolute discretion delay initiating any remittances and withhold any payments to be made or that are otherwise due to seller in connection with the Service or this Agreement for the shorter of: (a) a period of 90 days following the initial date of suspension; or (b) completion of any investigation(s) regarding any seller actions and/or performance in connection with this Agreement.”

You will get your money 90 days after your next disbursement date, this could make it 104 days. Sorry dude.

Mine was already passed the 90 days at point of closure (failed review 3 months ago, after it had already passed 2 previous reviews) - I could log into it as recently as 2 weeks ago (didnt check between then and payment date), seems they've deleted it just as the payout was due, very shady

mkr2204 - your account was only suspended, not deleted originally?

But when just away from the payment date after waiting 90 days for your funds, they deleted your account?

Yea, standard failed review email, had the same bs a few times before but allways been able to cash out after the 90 days

What were selling, seems strange unless you were selling counterfeit or the sales were deemed to be fraud?

Sadly Seppl42 - your info is incorrect - many of us have tried different ways...it is a failure in general.

But OP can keep trying and hope for some good news - slim chance
