A few Quick Questions
I have a suspended Amazon account that is linked to an email address that I have used to login to the website for the past several years, even before I was a seller. I've made hundreds of retail purchases through the site, and have an outstanding balance on an Amazon Store Card
a) If I plan to create a new 'stealth account,' can I still login in to Amazon to make occasional retail purchases or to pay my Amazon Store card bill, as long as I don't directly enter the seller portal? My concern is that if I successfully create a stealth account, and then log in to my old profile to pay a bill, this may link the accounts, even if I don't directly enter the seller section of the website. I get Amazon Store Card statements by snail mail, so I can always mail in a payment or pay by phone. But what if I want to make personal purchases in the future? Would I make them from the stealth account instead?
b) I was able to get an EIN pretty easily off the IRS website as a sole proprietorship, but it has my name listed under the name of the business. Do I need to go to my county office to get a DBA so that my name does not pop up on this paperwork?
