New Amazon Seller need some advice.

Ok so I have been selling on eBay for seriously a decade now. I never really messed with Amazon because I though clothing didn't sell and you have to like piggy back off other peoples items if they even had them.

Finally I was on the phone with a client who was telling me about buying UPC codes so I could make my own listings on Amazon. To put a long story short I will be the only one selling these different products unless someone I know sells the same thing.

I was curious is anyone had advice on creating listings on Amazon. Adding pictures, I am most worried about including a size chart so I don't have a ton of return or exchanges. Anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated. If there is something you don't want to share on the board. Please feel free to PM me. Thank you.

Firstly you need to know that you have to apply for permission to sell clothing on Amazon as clothing is a restricted section. First you open and account, then send a request to sell in the clothing section detailing what products you intend to sell and providing them with photographs of the products, in addition to details of your brands and suppliers etc. It's easier to get permission to sell on existing ASINs than creating your own. You can add the sizing to the product details in the listing. There are lots of rules on taking pictures of clothing products, which have changed recently, you should check the Help section of Amazon.
