amazon suspended. Appeal letter

How do I create a amazon suspension appeal letter?

just got suspended on the day of my disbursement!

Hello,

We have removed your Amazon selling privileges because of buyer complaints about the items they received from you. Please see below for some examples of the listings we have received complaints about:

Complaint Type: Used Item sold as new,Damaged/defective Item and Incomplete Item.
ASIN: B00GDBNxxx B00KO4OXPU B00Gxxxx B00GGxxxxK and B00BQxxxx

To maintain a trusted marketplace for buyers and sellers, we take immediate action when we identify a buyer complaint regarding the condition and authenticity of products. You can view previous emails about buyer complaints on the Performance Notifications section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...ications.html/).

What you can do

If you would like your selling privileges reinstated, respond to this message and let us know. When you respond, include a plan of action that contains the following:

1. Description of the issues that caused the complaints.
2. Explanation of the steps you have taken to resolve the issues and ensure that similar complaints won’t happen again.
3. Any additional details you would like us to know.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

here is my appeal letter. let me know how it is.

Dear Amazon,

Our account has been suspended due to multipleUsed Item sold as new, Damaged/defective Item and Incomplete Item
complaints. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We take full responsibility for theses issues and we came up with the plan of action to avoid future complaints.

1. Description of the issues that caused the complaints.

Complaint Type: Used Item sold as new
I have received multiple customer complaints that some of my items were used/scratched. This complaint was due customer returns that were sold as new again.

Complaint Type: Damaged/defective Item
-We have received two complaints that items arrived broken. We first thought this was our couriers fault however we identified that our packing materials were inadequate.

Complaint Type: Incomplete Item
-The customer ordered two sets however due to human error we only sent one.

2. Explanation of the steps you have taken to resolve the issues and ensure that similar complaints won’t happen again.

Complaint Type: Used Item sold as new
We now understand that selling used items as new is against Amazon Condition Guideline. Even if item looks like new, once unsealed can’t be sold as new again. We will take following steps to avoid this issue from reoccurring.
1)We have stopped selling customer returns as new. From now on each return will be carefully checked and sold as used.
2)We have prepared a dedicated area for returns to make sure they won’t mix up again with new stock.
3)We will double check each order before shipping so as to make sure that all my orders leave my warehouse in a brand new condition, sealed, with no defectives, etc. We believe, this will reduce number of complaints to zero.
4)We have also invested in new packaging material to ensure each order arrive in mint condition.

Complaint Type: Damaged/defective Item
As both item were damaged in the post we believe that this is due inadequate packing materials we used.
We will execute the following plan of action to prevent this issue from reoccurring:
1)We have invested in best packing materials we could find: boxes, bubble wrap, extra strong sellotape, encapsulated-air plastic sheeting
2)We will use “fragile” stickers on each shipment.
3)From now on we will purchase insurance for each of our shipments, we have also communicated the problem to the courier and asked to handle our items with care.

Complaint Type: Incomplete Item
1)We have implemented a physical checklist for those pulling items so that incorrect items will never be shipped.
2)We assigned one employee who is responsible for making sure that each shipment match the order
3)We will be sending a personalised feedback request letter with every order. This will make sure we know about any dissatisfaction immediately.

3. Any additional details you would like us to know.

Please accept our apologies for this mistakes. We will take all necessary steps to avoid it in the future. We fully understand that we must learn from this incident and prevent it from ever happening in the future. We pledge to only list products that comply with all Amazon's policies and guidelines.
With the above steps taken, we hope to avoid these kinds of problems and we hope we can still be a valuable asset to the Amazon Marketplace. We are open to any thoughts and feedback as well based on your recommendations so that we can rebuild your trust in our account.
We are committed to complying with Amazon's policies, and we are pleading for a reinstatement of our selling privileges.

Thank you for consideration

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

I think this is a good appeal letter. These limitations are usually pretty easy to overcome UNLESS you have had TONS of complaints. But your response seems well-researched and reasoned.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

Looks well done.
You may want to reword the feedback request letter to something like a information hotline, etc. as AZ may not like the idea of asking for feedback to boost your ratings.
Other than that; good luck. Hope it works out for you.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

I actually agree with Phd, I missed this at first. Amazon DOES allow you to ask for feedback, but they usually like it when you send the feedback request letters through them. But BUYERS on Amazon are notorious for never leaving feedback (unless it is BAD feedback, of course).

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

Hi
I got the exact same letter from Amazon tonight.
Same complaints, same everything,
Supposedly customer complaint of used item sold as new (not true
in my case, they said scratched, it must have happened in transit.
And I have a not all items received. Something was missing somehow (a long time ago) and I sent the missing piece right out, I don't even know how it was missing, but I
fixed in anyways.

Let us know how your letter works, I am trying to decide if I should buy a
letter or try to write one first, I just want my account back asap.

The great thing is, I had been reading these forums and remember
the saying, It isn't if your account will get shut down, but when!

They must be doing a mass clean out of sellers right now.
Not sure why they do that.

Good luck, let me know what you hear back.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

still no reply from seller performance. It's been about 10 days already.

On amazon's seller forums someone was saying they found and escalation email to send too. They said they got a reply within the next day, even getting they're account reinstated. I can't find this email anywhere. I've tried messaging but no reply.

Anyone know any other emails than sending too seller-performance@amazon.com

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

All the best to all of you - I have fought off a suspension in the past and then got reinstated and suspended again few months later - only legit sales but I got hit with the counterfeit charge.

Since then, I don't rely on Amazon a lot

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

The thing is RSOT, if you sell to cheap, if legitimate or counterfeit and the account is less than a year old amazon will just assume you are selling counterfeit especially if you compete direct against amazon.

Agree on that - thing is my items were pretty original then other ppl got into it and we had to compete ...which drove prices down - amazon was not a seller in my listings

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

Well, GOOD NEWS! Account has been reinstated after 3 and half weeks of waiting. But I've been hearing a lot of people getting reinstated and suspended after a day or two saying they did not provide a good enough plan of action. Hope this does not happen to me.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

Still waiting over here.

You getting good news does give me hope...

I can't wait to sell again.

Re: amazon suspended. Appeal letter

Nicely written letter. I paid for assistance from a lead on Google search engine results and it seemed like we were starting to stall out with Amazon. When I found your letter and discovered that I was suspended for the same 2 reasons, I borrowed some of the language in your response and BINGO! I was re-instated less than 8 hours later and 2+ weeks of back and forth.

A Big THANKS for posting what turned into a reinstatement getting form letter.
