So...one of my accounts went down...and I was sure I lost it to the wind. They had just transferred money to me, but it did not drop in my account when I noticed that the account was erased...and I was shut out completely from Amazon.com.

No email telling me what happened.

No response from customer service.

I have been through this before.

But...this time...I wrote the Jeff Bezos email, told them that I had done nothing wrong, that this was a pitiful way to treat customers, and that they should be ashamed of themselves for this behavior.

So I go into my bank account, and there is the money! Shocked, I went back into that email (that I had pretty much abandoned) and there is an email saying that I had been reinstated...the drop notification...and sales that I now have to scramble to fill.

So...some proof that life exists at the heartless evil black-souled company...

Amazon was getting crap for running sweatshop-like atmosphere in their warehouse locations, and that major article that was written embarrassing them initiated this response from Bezos.

I emailed jeff@amazon.com

Told them they shut my account down, didn't say a damned thing, and that the reason people hate them is for this reason...that they do stuff like this and think they are above the law.

I was shocked that they reopened my account.

But they did.
