Buy box and my own created listings

Hi everyone

I operate a stealth amazon account and have created a few of my own listings (bought my own UPC codes), and was wondering on average how long it takes to get the actual buy box, instead of the lame seller link customers have to click in order to buy my product.

I've been selling at a constant slow rate for a few months, but was curious how long it might take in order for me to get the BB so I can utilize PPC ads.

Is there a technique I can use to speed up the BB process? What exactly is amazon looking for, if anything?

use fba and you can get them straight away most of the time.
