Default Listings ended due to Duplicate listings policy

Hi Guys

So I have this one stealth thats been getting listing cancellations. I do not get a MC999 message but an email saying your listing was ended and in the email that I should review my listing for areas that can be improved (images, description and accurate titles) before relisting the item. In the seller area I get a message that says violation duplicate listing although I only have one listing. Now the stuff that gets ended are for example a power supply for a printer and a cheap second hand romance novel but on that same account I have also sold a high risk pair of Ugg Shoes that wasn't ended. I don't get the logic or the problem and have not tried to phone because they may ask for docs. I have also not tried to re-list the items since I do not want to have the taken down a second time and honestly since they are just my junk items I am not under pressure to get rid of them. Let them lie for a while and re-list on a different stealth with new images etc.

There is nothing wrong with the listing description or photo's and I am only getting this on the stealth account my others are fine.

I have now stopped listing items on this account and left the few on there that is slowly getting less due to every week or so one gets ended.

Any ideas? This bugs me even though I have accepted the fact that this account is dying a slow death. Should I perhaps end all the items and let the account lie for a while?

No its unique items. Each item is different - Very different. Some are used books and others are junk stuff.

Weird.
Any bad key words such as "like" or "like new" or "similar to"

etc..?

Example: Ford 350 similar to Chevy Silverado like new

Same.
I had this on a new account recently.

unique names, items, numbers, etc

Just cancelled for so called dupe listings.

Neither item was ever the same.

It seems like the account was just being picked on (Or possibly linked?)

@yankee - yea its strange since to be honest this account I call my junk account. I list all the stuff lying around that I do not want to sell on amazon or my more product dedicated eBay Stealth accounts. So items will hardly ever be the same or expensive. Anything from a toy to car part.

Weird thing is they will leave a printer but remove a printer power supply. Leave Uggs but remove a cheap book. I posted the Uggs on this account since I was worried about Vero on my other solid accounts but had no issues. Sold the few pairs I had - no takedowns.

I think best would be to remove all my listings. Let the account lie for a while.

Just a question. Will they re-instate the category limits if the account is not used for a while? I don't think they will reinstate the 21 day paypal hold.

@bigcj What happened to the account? Still going on or did it stop eventually?

Something is up. This is just a trash account at this point. Something is triggering it

paypal can reinstate holds if they want. Keep that in mind for down the track.

Avoid listing, still browse & maybe buy. Have some activity on this account.

Be careful.

Good Luck

I was posting as you replied, Hun.

Type of item might help and age of account.

Is it verified with a VBA or full bank account.

Mine is a 100/5000 account so its sort of a sore point to loose it at this point even though I have others. Account is a few months old. Full bank acc and VC.
Paypal limits lifted, Category limits lifted.

If they remove another listing I am going to end all the listings and leave it for a couple of weeks and try again. See what happens.

Some books have copyright issues with the Estates of the author.

Talk about shovelling uphill to try to list & keep an account viable with no co-operation from ebay.

Hard to be 1005 sure - it is possible that they reinstate it
