that's why i shared my point of view, because i know people usually is hopeless when they got account deleted. after all. we have this forum and we can share some ideas which may help a little bit.

There was a 2 week hold on it because the account was being reviewed as well as verified too.

The account blocking occured on Sat morning so did a bot block the account because I know the performance team don't work on weekends..?

haha, many many sellers sold millions a month on mazon.

On the bright side it looks like you will get your money. Make a note in your diary when the account was deleted, contact them around 85 days and send an e mail to payments investigate also.

Now look forward and get a new account open.

thanks - hopefully I'll get my money - is there any insight anyone can provide as to why the account was closed down?

I still have no idea why this has happened and believe it has been done unfairly..

nothing I have posted though is wrong - I just want some clarity into why this has happened..

My account has been closed for apparently no reason and its extremely upsetting and frustrating..

Stop working about your old account, its gone. Look forward.

Nobody has any ideas why accounts are suspended etc. I lost an account in the US recently for having an ASIN in my stock file, never stocked it, never sold it. But the reason my account was suspended was "copyright infringement on that ASIN"

Sad but true, the Amazon account is gone. The bright side is that you have an option to at least get your money, from what I've read here. Move on and learn from this experience. Amazon clearly saw some kind of risk with this account which you need to figure out and avoid in the future.

glad to say I did get the money in the end around 110 days later after sending 3 threatening emails to the MD email

still don't really know why the account was closed - possibly because I was selling too much

it was a real account and not a stealth account though

Glad to hear that money can be retrieved even after account was deleted...

For me, I simply ignore the incidence and moved on... anyway, just $2000+ plus, not as significant as your GBP25000...

I just wonder what Amazon does with the retained fund... like, if the money remains unclaimed for 10 years, does the ownership revert to the company or the government?
