Default Amazon Metrics are a mess

Sold a item to a buyer. The item is priced at £65.00
Posted with UPS, the buyer claimed non delivery even though the tracking number stated delivered. At first I thought the buyer is playing up since claiming the tracking number doesn't show the address of delivery and signature doesn't much the surname.

Emailed the buyer that I would look into this and get back to you asap. I also texted the buyer about the progress.

Called UPS and was told that this item was delivered to a different house number in the same Street.
Meanwhile the buyer opened the claim. I understand the buyer actions for thinking that the item isn't delivered.

I explained the buyer that the item is delivered to the wrong number on the same Street, the buyer collected the item from the wrong number and was happy to withdraw the claim. This was all confirmed by a text.

Next day, woke up to find that the claim was granted and Amazon refunded back. The refund wasn't taken from my funds, Amazon refund it. If the refund was given from Amazon, this rules it's not my fault.
My Metrics are still effected. I am not sure about this policy since first time encounter Amazon refund a A - Z claim.

Emailed the children in the playground at Seller Support....although I know most prodecure of a claim.
Had usual coming up with all sorts of different answers

Not sure of this.

Should my Metrics still take hit even thought Amazon refunded the claim and didn't held this against me.

The buyer obviously lied about withdrawning the claim.
Refunded, kept the item and also effected my Metrics.

I know that Amazon still hold it against the seller if the item isn't delivered to the right address......isn't fair though.

What can I do sort this out?

Thanks

You should end up being fine, they normally just take responsibly for stuff like this

So what I am trying to understand. If Amazon haven't held you responsible for the claim. Are the metrics still effected.

A update.

I emailed the Seller Performance Team about the defect which hasn't been updated on my Metrics.

What did they do.......Restricted me selling on Seller Fulfilled orders. I can only sell on FBA.

My account is in "Fair" not "POOR"

Reason for restriction was my ODR is 20%.
That's due only having 5 orders.

Sent them a Action of Plan and has usual, wasn't even look into.

Seller Support are claiming that Seller Performance have made a error. (Don't we all know that )

I have always sent emails to managing director of UK when issues like this have occurred.
Always does the job.

Most of accounts are real so I don't have any issue with I'D etc.
In three end I know my account would be reinstated but the run around they give you is a real nuisance.

I just don't understand how a Billion Dollar Companies like eBay and Amazon employ such staff that aren't adequate for the job.
