Default Amazon - a VPC and MAC implications?
So understanding that Amazon looks for MAC addresses, am I safe with a VPC solution? (set aside which it is)

Not seeing how it can be revealed, but wanted to check.

Amazon doesn't check for MAC Address.....no one can unless they install some type of program/plugin on your PC/Browser.

A VPC? are you referring to Amazon Virtual Private Cloud?

No, a virtual computer in the cloud. Not Amazon related.

In the Amazon Ghost book there was extensive language about that. Maybe I saw an old version? I read it on several sources online.
