Default PayPal Limited no request for info...

Hi guys,
I know theres a thousand threads here on this topic, and in the last 4 hours i think i read most lol. My partner got the email this morning and the reason given was suspicious account activity. Its a legit, fully verified account with a bank account and our BUSINESS bank account linked! We have the one paypal, one ebay, which is a legitimate business and is still active...

The account is over 12mnths old also.

The problem I have is that the info from paypal is that we cannot dispute this, nor have they requested ANY information for anything. All it says is we 'can' contact blah blah email if we want...

Does anyone know why or what I should do? We sell a lot, we do it legally, we have all legitimate info for everything which we can provide but no ones asked for any. This is our business and it would be a MASSIVE blow to us to lose our paypal account.

Point me to any info or contacts or even wild theories (i got nothing better to do today lol) that you think might help, thanks!

Cheers,
Crystal

Who is the blah blah email directed to?

Before you reply, think over any & all transactions recently that might look 'off' to paypal.

Have you had chargebacks, issues with buyers. All of these trigger rude notices.

We need more info to guide you

OK, we worked it out! AMAZINGLY PayPal managed to come to a solution. Turns out that part of their reason was BS. They said to us that there is two people at one address with the same name... dun dun dun... he and his father! Although, his father does NOT have a PayPal account, which is the BS part of PP's email, it states that the account is linked to an account which has been limited... NOT TRUE... It also said in our account that there was suspicious activity... at 2 am this morn, also not true! We dont use the account at 2am, and no one else does either. It baffels me that they came to this conclusion they way they say they did.

I worry now for my son, who ALSO has the same name, lol poor kid will be blacklisted and hes not even 2 yet!

Sorry for wasting your efforts today, but im sticking around, its too much fun reading what crap ebay and pp come out with these days.

limited for having the same name as your father... what a joke...

Worry a lot from now.

This is par for the course with paypal.

They do BS most of the time.

Ensure that you keep records of this conversation with them. Accounts have been known to suffer again down the line.

Since you are down under, I would consider using other payment methods too. On a scale of trust, paypal is far below used car salesmen & politicians.

Good Luck

Nope, where there is a way there is a will.

Thing is it will take extra work from you. Done correctly, you should be able to exist on multiple payment choices.
