 eBay fees payment by PayPal reversed - System Glitch?
For AU customers, has anyone else here got the email today below?
I've gotten this only on my stealth accounts, not my real account.
Some posts on eBay's community forum seem to suggest it's just a glitch but I am a little concerned since it only occurred on my steal accounts. http://community.ebay.com.au/questio...ping/500165521
Payments all were withdrawn from my bank like normal, no issue.
And no, it's not a phishing email. The same message appeared via eBay message system.
I've re-added the automatic payment method to eBay & waiting to see what happens.
Email: We are writing to alert you that your balance is not paid, because PayPal declined eBay's attempt to deduct your payment from your PayPal account.
According to the decline information from PayPal, this particular merchant agreement (your authorisation for paying your eBay seller fees using PayPal) is no longer valid. Your PayPal information has been removed as automatic payment method on eBay.
Please make immediate payment of your eBay fees to avoid becoming past due on your account.
Just follow these steps:
1. Go to the eBay Home page.
2. Click My eBay at the top of the page, and sign in with your eBay User ID and password.
3. Click the"Seller Account" link (beneath My Account in the left navigation menu).
4. Follow the instructions for making a payment.
Your eBay account may be restricted from bidding or listing until payment is received.
