Yes, the probably do. However, it is a for profit agency. We pay them plenty of money every month in fees. I think they're more concerned about catching actual crooks.

It is a dead end. Even though ebay keeps eyes closed on you, paypal will catch you. It will give you a limit, and then say goodbye to you when an agent sees you sell keys.

You may be able to beat this, but it is complicated. You need to watch the others doing and try to learn something from them.

It's very dangerous to sell Microsoft Windows 7 keys. Microsoft claims that it's illegal to sell serials without genuine installation media--- I don't think it is illegal. However, if you are a subscriber and get these keys for free from Microsoft, they'll ban you and kick you out of ebay: you are breaking their EULA agreement. If on the other hand, you resell purchased keys, you are not breaking any EULA agreements because you are not bound by any agreement you are not party to. These keys are legal except they are being used in manner that Microsoft never intended.

You can sort of sell these keys if you do not include any installation media(piracy) or provide download links, but, they'll kick you out sooner than later anyway. Every day you'll find at least 40-50 such sellers.

I resold them recently in one account only and only few per week and I bought them under separate id and kept track of sellers to see what happens to them?. About 75% of those sellers became NARU in less than a week. I lasted about 2 months in that account! I knew this would happen, except I did not know anything about account linking!

Your competition will report you, jealous ebayers will report you and others will even report you to Microsoft for selling pirated software.

I think the only way to sell them is though a stealth account over the weekend( ie about 200-300 at low price ie $19.98) and expect to be NARU by Tuesday--hit and run.

Another downside is that if you are also selling genuine retail software, ebay will assume that all your software sales are suspect, so I would not recommend doing this.

It is in fact, very, very illegal.

I don't think you understand what these are and where they come from: these keys come from Microsoft and they are genuine.

As part of the software development Microsoft sells technical subscription which allow subscribers to receive FREE product codes to Microsoft products. Subscribers are free to install these in their organizations and use them for software testing and development, however, only subscribers know how these product keys are used. Because many subscribers receive so many keys, they end up selling them. Is it illegal, no! But it violates EULA agreement.

Is it illegal to buy these keys. How and why. They are not counterfeit!

I do understand what they and where they come from. Selling of keys is illegal. MSDN keys are only used for the purposes you mentioned above. Selling them is software piracy. Unless that's no longer a crime, it's illegal. Violating the terms you've mentioned in the EULA agreement by distributing them for resale=piracy.

Please tell me how it's NOT piracy.

That's like arguing that it is illegal to violate your rental lease agreement because you sublet your apartment.
