I've never done the craigslist thing but I got into it for the first time recently and I pretty much meet them inside a store or in the city. If they are dodgy about it then I know what were their intensions

Well Detroit was known as the murder of the capital of the US for quite some time. I have been there only once and would never go back. Not a great place

Murder capital of the world for a very long time. Washington DC took the title from us for 1 year. Recently, a Mexican border town has made a bid for the title, but we still have the rest of the year to regain the lead. We're trying.

Vic, you need to come to Canada. No violence, no one has guns and there are less thugs...

Ahh..sweet Canada!

You need to try Kijiji, it's really popular in Canada..but you might want to be careful as it's owned by ebay. You never know, what ebay can do....

It has already happened, a seller I'm tracking has been selling the Your Baby Can Read 5 DVD 50 Flash Card set for a ridiculous price of $55.00. I'm glad to say that this particular seller has no more items up for sale currently, most likely got the sting from eBay.

I hope your kidding me I looked on dhgate and you can get the your baby can read for $13 a piece so $55 is overpriced I used to know a guy who would sell those for $35 piece resulting in a profit of $15 to $20 profit. you dont know business lower the price= the more sales you get.

When you Lower the price too Low Customers get suspicious...the whole point would be to pass them on as real copies... you cannot tell people in a listing that these items came from dhgate blahh blahh blahh...so your friend was just hurting his own profit probably in an attempt to get rid of some hot items that he couldnt sell on ebay ....lol and why would you take a risk of your account being taking down for a measly 15 dollar profit on a item(but that probably was on craigslist).this might sound wrong but you have to be greedy in this world...i make triple of my vero items and people never complain...(knock on Wood) Havent received a bad feedback Ever from one item i purchased off dhgate...but i know it will happen

how do you think industrial america was built??? by greedy tycoons thats how......not by fair wisemen...lol that just the way it is IMO...

Richer get richer and the poor get Screwddddd...which side will you be on...lol

dont take any of this personal man im just stating my opinion.

Re #38:

While I don't entirely agree with the motive, you expressed your point very clearly. And it is valid.

The predatory and viscious undercutting of list-price only serves to harm any market. Small scale price competition is good for the consumer and does keep sellers on their toes. Price wars don't serve any good purpose at all.

When all my favorite shows went to reruns last year, I entertained myself watching the P90 wars on ebay.

Imagine, some day 5280 years from now, an archaeologist from the planet Antaire #B will dig up this hard drive and mistakenly deduce that the Great Emperor Aspkin commanded Generals Vic and No ID to defeat the slave army of the once great nation of eBay in a 4 year conflict which spread throughout North America, Europe, and Asia in what will henceforth be known as the P90 Wars. Science fiction material there. I better copyright and franchise that...

Yeah after looking at the prices on DHGate it looks like $55.00 is more than enough for profit. I was thinking of another informational product. I could have sworn it was Your Baby Can Read, some baby education material product that was selling for more than $300 on eBay.

The Rosetta Stone packages were going for that much and I remember researching another baby product that easily went for $300+ too. I deleted all the items in my research that I thought was too risky to sell including the YBCR and Rosetta Stone.

When I said $55 was ridiculous I was thinking of the product that was easily being sold for more than $300. Oh well whatever just thought I should clear that up.

I got an email and then a letter (not registered, just regular first class mail) from the same law firm not only requesting that I cease and desist, but also demanding $1,000 for investigative and trademark infringement fees. Not sure how to handle this either but I did stop selling YBCR on ebay.

I got confused too but they both have similar names and I know exactly which one you're talking about! :D
