1000 items/$25,000 per month question

So...if I purchase a 1000 items/$25,000 items account, I still have to sell slow as molasses for the first 3 months?

Can I go hogwild and sell a lot of items on my 4th month?

...seriously, though, my question is...why do the 1000 items/$25,000 items account tier if you're going to have sell slow for the first 3 months any way. Why not just do the 50/$5,000 route if you can't take advantage of the high ceiling?

No you obviously cannot go hogwild on any new account.

Usually if you have to ask these sorts of questions, you know you shouldnt do it.

You clearly aren't ready to get back to selling on Ebay. You need to gradually go up in your item count per month until you get to a point where you are selling your desired amount.

Why does it matter? if you can't be bothered to follow the advice we give then do it up, go hog wild.

The high limits are there from the start, so when you eventually build up your reputation on eBay, you don't hit a brick wall.

Thanks.

Obviously, my first post about "going hogwild" was an exaggeration, hence the serious follow up question.

The problem is people assuming stealth means they can be back to the same level they were at before they were limited/banned and then realize they can't...so what do they do? Throw a hissy fit and start trying to find ways they can some how bypass certain things.

and you certainly can bypass somethings but at least half the time you get funds stuck for 180 days.

My suggestion is to mix up accounts. Build most up slowly and grow them over 6 months to a year, add and EIN around day 70 if you sold a few thousand dollars or 130ish items and nurture them.

On other accounts push the limits to see what you can, "Get away with" Never let more money that you can afford to loose sit in a paypal account.

But if you're going to get a 1099 notice if you hit the $20,000 threshold, there still is no reason to have 1000 items/month limit unless you're selling real cheap items

And thats when you add an EIN to the account and start paying your taxes.
Or as you say stick to the lower limit accounts and spread your sales across multiple accounts.
I myself spread my sales across very high limit accounts for the simple reason that if I sell only 50 items on a 1000 item per month account I am flying very low under the radar. To me its all about attracting the least amount of attention which is key to anyone practicing staelth.
