Will MC010 hit Canadian account?

All my new USA accounts get hit by MC010 new seller verification. I have to send in documents. This is really painful.

My question is whether this is also applied to Canadian new seller account? I mean, if I open a Canadian seller account, will it gets limited to verify identity? Thanks!

I don't think ebay holds a public database to generate question for Canadian sellers.

Yeah Canadian accounts get hit - out of the blue too. Happened to me other day - i listed way too much during that free eBay listing week and got burned on one account. Happens - MC010 ID Verify slap

In which case, I would expect them to require scans or faxes.

In USA, even I fax id, ebay will not let me pass. This didn't happen one month before. I thought ebay run some database to check the id. I hope there is no such database for Canada.

They attempt to check, but not always successful. If they detect that you really aren't in the US, by whatever means, sending documents won't help. Same would apply to Canada info.

If your VPN or Proxy is sub-par, they have you pegged and nothing you can do will alleviate that. If VPN or Proxy does not apply in your case, then you need to figure out what's causing them to target you. Then fix it.

Yes, I use VPN. Is this the reason I am targeted. I faxed them driver license, bank statement and even passport. All these should work one month ago. So they suddenly become picky on VPN user? Is there anything I can do?

It isn't sudden by any measure. It's been an increasingly frequent problem for people.

There are still a few VPNs that have not been blacklisted. If you can locate one of those services, begin using it. I do not use VPN and therefore can not give advice about which are still fine.

Sub Par means below par. Par is a word that means 'minimum expected performance level'. Thus, sub par means something is not performing as well as it should. A sub par VPN is a Virtual Private Network that is not as Private as it should be.

*NOTE*
Most VPNs marketed to the general public should be considered sub-par.
