Default New Experiment from a u.s seller

Half cooked Plan:

1. I a VPN service from canada.

2. I open a ebay and paypal and verify them and everything.

3. I sign up for one of those mail forwarding services on canada.

4. I withdraw the money from paypal via check.

5. Check arrives at the canadian address and they forward it to my address here in the states.

6. Cash the checks in the states and i avoid the ssn on all my paypal accounts.

Would this be possible? would i be able to cash the check here in the u.s?

thank you!

should not be a problem then, since i dated the girl on a currency exchange store and she cashes my business checks along with other checks without any problems.

Just wanted to know if Canadian paypal checks can be cashed in the u.s

I would assume so, you can always wait for the UK people to respond, who keeps changing your name ? is it red devil or red bean? lol that's the second time I saw that change today.

The originating bank currency will be in Canadian dollars. It will take time for the check to clear most likley, so cashing it outright probably won't be an option. Depositing the check will be fine, yes. Of course, there are exchange rates to think about.

Paypal hates VPN's.... you should use dial up from USA to Canada if you can, or use auctiva, or garagepay apps for a mac.

You're not going to avoid the ssn on a Canadian account... not with your intention however. Basically, Canada has a population that is less than California. That means that there are a lot less people selling in Canada.... basically, the paypal canada team is much smaller as a result.... and as a result... they deal with a lot less disputes, ID verification issues... what I'm trying to say is that although Canadian paypal accounts cannot ask for the Canadian ssn (inn I think... or sin?) they can still shut down and limit your activity. I don't see any reason to use a Canadian paypal if you're based in the USA. Why not do the same thing in the states and keep your sales volume under the radar?

Oh... and if you keep the currency in USA dollars on a canada paypal, you can just add a USA bank account and withdraw that way

So what would you do if this girl gets upset with you and no longer will take care of your checks for you. You should never depend on anybody else to handle any sort of business with your accounts. While things may go good at first it just takes one minor hiccup and then your left wondering what to do next.

Just a Canadian point of view - I don't recall paypal canada sending checks out...just bank transfers and that's why you have to verify with a bank...

Maybe I am missing something in your plan but Canadian paypal would not work.

You can bet the farm PP is all over this. You are not the first to think "Oh Canada" with this SSN issue

Even if you get around the normal IP stuff you have other issues they will be looking for. Tracking for one. Any tracking you use on the system will show its coming from USPS, not Canada Post

Customers from Canada, few as they will be, will flip when package takes 2 weeks and came from the US

Banking for another. You must add a bank to verify. Only way. You can use a US bank, yes. But an account with no CAD account attached will get looked at. And it wont take long to see whats up./ PP is dumb, but not stupid

There are a lot of hurdles to spoofing from another country. many of them are on the practical side, not just digital

You can bet PP has things in place to spot. My opinion, is 10 US accounts flying low on the radar would be easier to manage then a whole other country. Can it be done. Sure. But is it worth the hassle?

i think what our Canadian friends are saying is that $ wise the Canadian dollar is not more profit then sell in the usa and making American $'s

why not just sell in the usa ebay and save $ on shipping to Canada?

and it's their freakin market ok

it's not like they sell here lol

to be fair, there's not more to be made beyond the American $ and the conversation rate is close. get me point.

Now Germany and other countries are different!
