I opened an account on eBay.ca and added a bank account to the attached Paypal account, still have 10 item limit.

This is not the 100% failsafe proof to avoid the limit. Experimentation is key - even when I make accounts, I get the 10/1000 limit enough times to be annoying.

You will not raise the selling limit by adding a bank acc on paypal.
