yes you can, you need to buy the one that you can load between $25-$500 , that is the one you can buy at 7eleven or walmart. You bring it to the cashier and just say you want to load $500, you give $504.95 to the cashier ($4.95 is fee in most places) and they swipe the card and hand it back to you , you never give them you ss#, i did this 30 times

After the verification amount, you just keep a couple of bux on it - can spend rest on gas or so (example)

Does anyone know if a Vanilla Visa will work on iOffer to verify a seller account? iOffer will charge a small mystery amount to the card and you have to be able to tell them what the amount was.

For Amazon yes - you would be wise to keep 10-20 on the card...I have heard of test charges of 15+ (no real experience though) but lot of people say 10-15 is safe...

When you account gets suspended.

In the help section about types of cards it says that they may do a preauth up to $4 so I think if you keep at least that much you should be OK.
