Strange. I guess I didn't get the memo.
I don't understand what people are not getting here. Before 2017 when it just hit $20k people were predicting its collapse to sub $1k levels which never happened.
Now that it hit $42k those same people are predicting sub $20k - making it sound like THAT is a terrible place for it to be.
Guess in the next round when it doubles yet again and then corrects they'll say that sub $40k is the end of Bitcoin...
I said it for years now. If youre playing the long game these fluctuations are almost meaningless. I got most of my BTC holdings back in 2015 and have had no reason to regret the decision to hold onto it. Ill hold to it till it hits 6 figures and I don't see how anyone can have any doubts that eventually that level will be met as well - sooner or later. Be it 1 year from now or 5 years from now - that level IS going to be met. Does anyone here even doubt that at this point?

so far I see most BTC "investors" expect to see increase in value, sell it at 100K and buy lambo.. and maybe just a small fraction believe it could become "real money".

If ~95% are going to sell it at 100k, and maybe 5% hold it, who is going to buy it for 100K..? :D we need new investos with expectations about 500k.. :D

That doesnt mean it wont the next time though... that is the point. It works in a cycle. Buy when its low and sell when its high, then buy again when its low etc. Its a long term game but there is without doubt money to be made

I have 0 doubt it'll hit 6 figures.... I wouldn't be surprised if it hit that end of 2021.

There's this guy I forgot his name, he predicted the value end of 2020 and he was spot on. Then he said end of 2021 could be about 220K

(anything could change my thinking), Not selling $BTC this cycle unless 160-180k. $ETH I will trade for $BTC if its gets anywhere close to ETH/BTC ATH. Selling $ETH for USD depends on how high it gets. Not going to start worrying about cycle ending until the end of year. $AAVE & $UNI will be fun to play with in meantime. BTC>ETH>DeFi Repeat BTC>ETH>DeFi

So Glad I got rid of Bitcoin cash the moment it came out. I got it dropped into my acct when the split occurred and sold it immediately for more Bitcoin.

Yea, he apparently predicted 2020 value accurately and he's on a few podcast / talk shows about it and that's when I saw he said $221k by end of 2021.

This was 2 weeks ago before Elon bought 1.5B worth lol

If Apple picks up the glove now and adopts Bitcoin as well... Now THAT would be adoption. Hundreds of millions of people being able to charge their apple accts with Bitcoin to buy apps and products. They stand to make a LOT of money if they get into it as well.

WUT? sell BTC for apps and products? someone would have to be mad crazy to sell BTC. i cant picture a use case for BTC spending it. if the future you could live off BTC interest alone. I think this is going to be a super cycle and 200k might not sound all that crazy after all
