Usps po box

My PO box is due to expire.... i am moving... But i have goods slated for this address for awhile. If i re up the lease on this PO BOX.... Can i later move the PO BOX to a post office that's closer to me for free?

I would think the best advice someone can give you is go to the post office and ask that question to them, or you can call them. Why waste gas when a call is better.

I do not think they will allow you to do this. Might be wrong but once you are giving that box at that address it is yours for the time period you paid for.

You can do a change of address that will last for 30 days to get it to the next box.

PO Boxes are only 20 bucks or so for 6 months.

Like someone else posted call and see and let us know, my guess is they wont allow you to move your PO box number for free. That would be a ton of paperwork for the huge amount of people who move everyday and I cannot see them being willing to do this.

Might be wrong but my instincts are no way.
