You can always buy a bubblewrap making machine. It's $1K, but it saves on the long run...

In the US Sams Club has 240 feet 12" perforated for about $12 and there is often a coupon code automatically deducted at checkout.

That is an amazing price for a roll of bubble wrap!

It has good length and width but what is the thickness?

How thick is that roll?

I believe its the standard 3/8. The roll is good quality and made by scotch. However these are only at costco business centers, not a regular costco's.

Well, seems threerb aren't so great.

Having a horrible experience with them and their customer service is a bunch of morons over the phone and via email. On the phone, their number just forwarded to some idiot's cellphone and he didn't even know what guest checkout was or how I ordered without having an EB account.

Having to do a chargeback through my CC company. That is no excuse for a seller who has 800,000+ feedback. People who treat their customers like this do not deserve to operate a business or keep their EB account.

Degradation in Customer service...terrible. Good idea to do the chargeback

How totally precious.

298 feedback revisions and you are calling it a degradation in customer service.

Thanks I needed a laugh.

When threerb was not quite so big a few years ago, every-time I called I chatted with Amanda. Yea, just Amanda.
They operate on a skeleton crew and handled 10X my volume.
Awesome company to model if you want to make money. I learned so much from Amanda of how she magically handled warehouses in two states and streamlined orders via systems.
If you think threerb does not deserve to sell on ebay, then most likely my big ebay accounts should be closed down too...

When a snafu happens when you handle thousands of orders daily and ship via systems, it is a mess. I will definitely give you that.

So, you also wait weeks to ship (but they guarantee 24-hour turnaround) and give nothing but baseless excuses to your customers? Then, yes, you should stop selling.

Do you also have no clue what guest checkout is or answer your customer service line just saying nothing but "hey"? If I have to ask YOU who the f*ck you are when I call your main customer service number that's blanketed all over your store/website, then it's time to shut down or hand the business over to someone who has the slightest clue what they are doing.

There is no excuse. I went back to who I've been dealing with for years, despite some products being slightly more expensive. My money is not charity money for morons.

If you call my main customer service line it rings to ebay! no joke at all but it can only be found when requesting contact info. I closed my call center down. When you start selling thousand of items a week, it is a whole different world. ebay messages only and I never mix my non ebay sales with ebay sales on big accounts. Never. It is a mess.

I agree though. Once you get to a certain size, you need to delegate or/and remove yourself from the busy work. It is far to easy to get burned out.

Morons though? Do you have as much business and keep a 99.8% feedback? I wish my big ebay stores had 99.8%
25 negative feedback out of 15,000+ a month is amazing. I am happy if we hover around 100 negative in 10,000 Very happy.

We've both had different experiences obviously. So, we're not going to agree.

They showed no remorse or apology through phone or email. My business is run by myself as I am sure many do on here. It is my lifeblood and I have never and will never treat a customer like they have treated me. Complete ignorance, negligence and utter laziness on their part. Don't offer products or services you can't fulfill and then when you fall behind just f*ck over your customers instead of solving problems.

I completely understand what you are talking about. I have been on both sides of this coin and my perspective is based on overall company, not a single bad experience.

I know I recently ordered from threeb and it took 3 1/2 weeks to get delivery. They ship at the speed of a snail with a sloth on its back!!!

Guy always has very good prices and always reliable to get to you. That's the only guy I use for mailers and bubble wrap. He has actually gotten cheaper over time. Always top notch materials and glue seals.

Can I ask, did you compare their prices to Uline? I was wondering if
they are cheaper than Uline.com

Almost always cheaper than uline by leaps and bounds. The only thing for packing I buy from uline is 36"x6"x16" boxes simply because it is the only place I can find them...

Uline prices are good until you factor shipping, and than your total just goes way up.

I get one item there because most other suppliers do not have the Tuffgaurd Extreme bubble mailers, they are lined with 5/16 bubble or medium size bubble liner.

Uline is good for a specific item but things like bubble wrap you can get much cheaper anywhere

Uline works well - I recently got some from them but in general, I just use bags and newspapers. If you do a large order, I believe they can waive shipping but depends on activity.

Thank you for this post... my shipping methods are usually safe but kind of ghetto... re-used packaging etc... at this price anyone could afford to look professional

I get mine on semi-truck from Uline....

I used to use Threerb until I started getting purchase holds because of the large orders. That scared me enough to stop buying from them...
Never had a problem
