Default My sister bought a bunch of knock off NFL jerseys. Help?

My sister purchased 8 NFL jerseys from various sellers on eBay, only 5 of them are authentic. The three sellers she received knock off **** from have 300+ feedback, they have some negative reviews claiming their **** is phake but my sister didn't take the time to read them -_-. If she opens three separate cases and ships everything back, do you think she will have any issues with eBay? Such as them closing her account for opening so many cases at one time? I sell on Amazon, I don't really know how eBay is customer service wise. Thanks for the advise?

And to any knock of sellers reading this, ****kkk youuuu!

If they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗, u can call ebay and they will tell you that you can keep item because it is illegal to ship ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items using US mail. Definitely get refund.

She will be fine opening cases for each item

Just out of question why was she buying 8 jerseys from 8 different sellers?

Yeah seems odd to buy from multiple sellers. Well Ebay is full of ⊗⊗⊗⊗, caution needed

Hate to say it but I agree with Empire on this one. Ebay policy clearly states buyers will not be obligated to return any counterfeit merchandise, but instead should destroy it and get their money back.

Some without morals make a KILLING exploiting this loophole (if you could call it that) on sellers who also have no morals. Buy 100pcs of item knowing full well it's phake, get money back by claiming a return would be illegal, sell 100pcs of said item at 100% profit.

In the UK they scrapped that policy a few years back. Any knock off items now need to be returned to the seller even if they are clearly non genuine. I am surprised to hear that its not changed to that in the USA as well. Does eBay ask for any proof that the item is non genuine? If not surely that can really be exploited

They don't necessarily ask for proof in the policy, but there has to be "strong indicators."

If you open not as described cases the buyer will have to provide return labels and you just send it back. If you do try to game the system into trying to get something for free then you could risk the account. Unfortunately in certain categories ebay is protecting sellers that sell Vero and Phake items. VIRTUALRACK is definitely one of them.

For me as long as I can return it and they pay for it so be it. Only time I get pissed off is when they advertise it as Authentic, use stock photos, etc.

The sellers are causing their own problems. It doesn't make sense to blame the buyer for what the seller is doing wrong. Christmas is 39 days away, so there's your legitimate need for 8 jerseys.

There is yes. It's just getting them from 8 totally different sellers just seemed a bit odd to me. I am sure there is a totally logical reason thought I was just curious as to what that was. Just being nosey!

My friend sold a genuine limited edition piece of clothing for £200 via ebays global shipping program to somebody in the US. The buyer opened a counterfeit case and my friend supplied the certificate of authenticity. eBay refunded the buyer at no cost to my friend so I'm guessing the buyer is exposing this loophole in order to get away with keeping the expensive item and getting a refund?

To give some light on why someone would buy multiple jerseys off different sellers:

Christmas Gifts
Family Gathering
Going To A Game - different sizes cheaper with others

I've bought three jerseys off three different sellers in the past because of the sizes and color I was looking for. Not really that unusual.

Trust me, I've had a train run on me in this manner before. If the scammer/buyer knows the right laws and postal regulations to mention Ebay isn't going to require a return, because it's technically illegal for Ebay to have a buyer return a counterfeit item.

As long as you return item don't worry about anything happening to account. However, if there is an attempt to keep item, it may look suspect that it happened from 8 sellers.

A true genuine Jersey is pretty expensive, so the phakes are easy to spot. Most people don't make a big deal cause they prefer tp spend $30-$40 a Jerseys instead of $299.

It only happened with 3 sellers. the other 5 were good. So might look less suspect like that.

BTW! Why is the sister not asking the questions or is she too young?
