Default EBay can be pretty lenient sometimes..

I was checking out an item a certain seller was selling (drones)..and literally right in the description he states he is not an authorized seller and that a manufacturers warranty is not included..and he has sold a couple hundred of these..

Not sure what the connection is between ebay being lenient and the seller not being an authorized seller......

That is one thing VERO can do.

Not all VERO holders want to remove all unauthorized seller though. Some are happy for others to sell their items so long as they are genuine items

Right..but if the sellers non authorized and can't provide a manufacturer warranty isn't it pretty clear it's not genuine

And if the Company that makes the drones wants to VERO the seller....they will. Also Ebay may never ask for invoices, and it may ask sooner or later but that doesn't mean that ebay is lenient because they haven't been taken down.

Not at all... Let's take Dyson as an example.

I purchased my Dyson vacuum on eBay knowing full well I was buying from a non-authorized seller.

It was in a sealed box and 100% Genuine.

I went into this knowing Dyson was not going to warranty the vacuum. I was willing to take the risk to save about 50% ($200) off the price of the model I really wanted.

It was a win-win for me and the non-authorized seller, and a huge savings.

And sometimes companies will still warranty an item within a given amount of time.....

Think about what you just said..you got a sealed item for 50% off with no manufacturer warranty from an unauthorized seller and you still think it's genuine....just THINK about what you just said

Sure..if it's an individual whose selling just one that they don't need it's possible..but from a seller whose sold hundreds..I'm sorry I don't buy it..especially with 50% off..not a chance

It's not that the item is not genuine. It's probably stolen.
That happens all the time. Entire trucks of merchandise
go 'missing'. It's sold to a reseller and then they sell it on ebay.
I think it's pretty much impossible for someone to replicate
a Dyson, including packaging. It's more likely stolen merchandise
or the reseller purchased overstock and they aren't an authorized
seller of Dyson's so they still sell them but without the warranty.

I spend days and days of research picking an item I'm interested in buying, I researched everything on almost every vacuum ever made before I make a decision on the one I want. I'm guessing I spent 15 hrs of research, and waited about a month till I found the right seller and deal to buy from.

I'm not really concerned about what what you think since you don't know me. But if you believe I'm stupid enough to accept a counterfeit item of anything, then you really really don't know me.

Only possibility if it's from a seller whose sold multiples would be stolen goods.

Or gray market, or just downright phake.

Though a gray market Dyson would probably not have a USA style plug on it. Might be stolen.

Also people buy genuine items, refurbish them, then buy counterfeit packaging and sell it sealed as brand new. I bought an ipad one time heavily discounted that was like this. I wasn't too upset, the ipad was genuine, in perfect condition, and it was a great deal regardless.
