There's a lot to it. Not just age, or limits, etc. You'll just have to keep trying and suss it out. Nobody will share the method here as it can end up getting abused by those who sell counterfeit products.

Yes i know that. Thanks. I want to sell branded, not counterfeit items. I think both for eBay is on same level.

Instead of wasting too much time and energy on this, find another niche of products you can sell that aren't as high a risk.

Right now your learning stealth, and trying to suss out way to sell branded items will just over confuse you.

Focus on stealth accounts, and selling on them for now.

Your welcome.

P.S. You will never learn stealth by just reading the guide. You need to practice by making a few accounts.

Then when you get stuck, ask questions. That's how you'll learn best :)

I want to ask, is it risky to save my stealth photos on desktop folder ?

dallis 12-19-2017 07:40 PM

Re: eBay first item

Why would that be an issue? You wonder if they can see your computer? Or the folder name?

It's not going to be a problem, but I do always name my photo folders so they match the account name of the EB account, for clarity's sake, and so I don't reuse a photo on more than one account.

You could also rename your computer from: "Hi, I'm Aquero and I'm running a stealth account on this machine, I hope you don't guess that's what I'm doing and ban me" to "desktop". :)

No, i was asking because i read some threads here that some people are hosting their photos.

If its being hosted, its on a server somewhere. Not on your desktop folder.

Yes, i make the difference. I was thinking that being on my desktop folder on new user account it is some kind of risk. Now i know it's not an issue.

Is it necessary to name my photo folder so it match the account name of the eBay account ?

Not necessary at all.

To make it super simple, your already using different user accounts for different accounts, just put the pictures on the desktop for that account.

Is free shipping in listings on first low risk items will be a red flag and can i use stock photos or just modifiеd them ? I read in the stealth book that stock photos are not good option but many eBay members are using them in their listings.

You need to use actual pictures of items - not stock.

Free shipping is fine.

Good to know. Thanks.

Is it risky to start few stealths with different first item from one niche/category ?

So, I have new IP, new name, new address, new user account, new cleaned pictures, new look listings, different passwords on eBay and PayPal, low risk items. Do i miss something important in the whole process ?

When i made first acc i was able to choose my own eBay ID. With the second they generated it automatically. I am a bit confused. Is automated ID will be red flag for stealth and if i change it will be red flag too ?

I'd give it a few weeks before changing it. But you can manually change it after, that's fine.

Good idea. I will change it after at least 30 days and will update.

I am reading Stealth Book again and I realized that the most important thing for long life account is feedback. This is the only way to build trust in eBay. Am I right ?

Pretty much.

Accumulating lots of seller feedback is the way to go.

Account age is also important.

Good point about the account age. Before start selling a high risk items what is good account age, 90 days i.e. ? I read this in the Stealth Book

To be frank, there's never a good time to sell anything high risk. The moment you do, regardless of how perfect your account is, your clock starts to tick. At anytime you could then get limited.

Aguero 12-29-2017 04:51 AM

Re: eBay first item

Ok. What about selling more expensive items, what account age is good for that ?

That's something you work your way up to.

Week 1 sell £10 items, week 2 £20 items, week 3 £40 items... etc.
Not too many of course, especially in the early weeks.

If you've received 2 positive feedbacks already (from sales), then you should be okay to list 2 low risk items (given value isn't too much higher than those you've previously sold).

Don't rely on 1 account to sell high risk items - no matter what age, it's risky

I'd echo the same point rsot made - this would be a good time to start on another account. If you get tempted and start pushing this account too much (especially during the early stages) it can get you limited. Then you'll be back to square one.
