Will be a red flag to accept deal cancelation from seller ? I want to make my first listing next week. | I think one cancellation you may get away with, but multiple could pose issues.
If it's a bid, you can usually cancel the bid so long as the listing isn't in its last 24 hours of sale. |

Thanks. It was too late for cancelation. |

Thanks. It was too late for cancelation. | I'd advise you to browse for a few minutes, come back next day and place a bid.
I think bidding and browsing goes hand in hand.
Also try to bid on items that aren't high risk of fraud by buyers (i.e. iPhone etc.), also look for items which you know will go for a higher price so you don't end up having to pay for it.
If you win, make sure you do pay for it or you'll run into issues... |
| Aguero | 01-18-2018 01:58 PM | Re: eBay first item Good to know. Thanks.
I was thinking that browsing is enough and i made my first stealth without bidding. I will do both from now on. :thumb: |

Especially the receiving positive feedback on eBay from sales as PayPal see's that. |
| Aguero | 01-18-2018 03:25 PM | Re: eBay first item Receiving positive feedback, very nice feeling for me.
After i do 10 positive feedbacks is it good idea to make more low risk item listings, i.e. 3-4 current listings together ? |

If its low risk low priced (15 bucks or less for me) items I usually list 3 items a day even if the account was just created. never had a problem with that. |
| Aguero | 02-23-2018 01:54 PM | Re: eBay first item Thanks a lot. Yes it is 1€ items. Will try this right now.
You don't make browsing history at all ? |

You can get away with very little browsing if you were to sell a very low risk item.
Listing a few low risk items are fine, just make sure each you set QTY 1. Dont sell more than that as it can cause issues.
Good luck! |
| Aguero | 02-23-2018 02:47 PM | Re: eBay first item I was thinking that I need few different days browsing before making my first listing :noidea:. I aways start with low risk items as I read in stealth book. May be I am too punctual. |

Is it risky to take my all photos from the same place at home ? I am using different backgrounds and angles but daylight is the same. |

| Aguero | 03-18-2018 09:15 AM | Re: eBay first item Different items for different accounts. Taking pictures in same place at home, close to windows for better light.
I am paranoid and I am trying to build up stealths with different low risk items. May be I am waisting my time  |
| greakf3eak | 03-18-2018 09:20 AM | Re: eBay first item Different low risk items with an almost common background on different angles i guess cannot cause linking troubles for any type of eb accounts. |
| Aguero | 03-18-2018 09:39 AM | Re: eBay first item I specifically ask about the place where the photos are taken. Same place, same light ? May be this cause possible linking.
Where do you take your photos and do you start with the same item ? |

| Aguero | 04-16-2018 03:40 AM | Re: eBay first item Can I start stealths with brand new low cost items or it's better with used ?
May be PP can ask for invoices and other docs for brand new items. |

Better to stick to used items to begin with (even if new, just describe it as used), that way you can slow build a rapport with ebay/paypal. Its the best way to get the ball rolling on a new account. |
| Aguero | 04-16-2018 04:22 PM | Re: eBay first item OK. Is 5-10 old items are enough before start selling new low risk items ?
I have new low risk items and I want to try them. |

I have new low risk items and I want to try them. | I'd always avoid risky items, low or high. But if you're adamant, my advice would be to ensure you have 10 positive feedback (all from selling), do those sales over about 2 to 3 months, before starting to sell such items.
Include such items alongside the no risk items for sale. Ease it in. |
| SouthsideBmw7 | 04-16-2018 05:24 PM | Re: eBay first item I started an account for my friend and listed Louis Vuitton and Gucci everything. Some new and some used. The account was made with real name and real address so it was super tight. Not one take down not 1 interruption. Never had to verify anything..its funny how ebay will allow a lot to happen if account is made with real details where they can verify your name and address. List first items that are easy to ship. It always gets to you when you doing all that work and not making any money on the items. Remember, it is for the greater good later when you can make big money. |

I mean, can I start build feedback with new cheap items instead of used ? |

If you cannot get a hold of "used" items, then sell the "new" items as "used".
That is the safest way forward. Selling used items seems to have lower risks. |
| Aguero | 04-23-2018 02:38 PM | Re: eBay first item I want to ask another question. I can't stop asking :peace:
I worry about the local competitors. I am living in a small country. They may report me. I have read many threads here and I understand that an old and established account is almost safe.
But what about new accounts ? Is there a way to play safe ? Writing a different item location, bad idea ?
I would be grateful for any advice. |

I would be grateful for any advice. | Best thing is to just sell and see what happens. If you keep getting taken down and there is no reason why you should be taken down (i.e. products don't go against ebay/paypal terms), then it may be a competitor.
But why worry now? see what happens. :) |

Do eB pay attention to buyers who have not bought an item and just report it ? |

So you'd need to receive reports from numerous different sellers. However a few reports from customers would have a quicker impact on you. So just make sure they are satisfied. |

How to make feedback faster: sell cosmetics from brands like Golden Rose, Rosa Impex, Eveline, Avon and etc. Sell EVERYTHING (henna, nail polish, sticks and etc.) that cost under 5 bugs from this brands. They are easy to find in BG :) Also, items are smaller and cheaper for delivery. Sell without profit and you will make huge number of feedbacks.
And let me use this topic to ask one question :)
I have one sunglasses that I do not use (Ray-Ban). They are new (not used, not fit on my face) and I open new auction in ebay UK. The starting bid was 1/3 from the original price (another RB sellers start from this price too), pictures was original, made by me with good quality and item was listed as "new with tags". A few hours after the auction start, my listing was removed for "Trademark Violation -Unauthorized Item". Account is more than 2 years old, has 600+ only positive feedbacks and it's top rated status. What may be the reason for triggering this removal? Item status - New with tags?
P.S. Most epic item: try to find did someone sell bulgarian tee :) |

Brands are very popular her in Bulgaria and if you filter your searching by location (Bulgaria), you will find that 90% of the BG sellers are selling this brands. Two of my accounts go up 150 item/month for less than 90 days without any issue with this metod.
