I read here that account start ageing after first sale. | Aged is from day of signup, but the date of first sale also contributes to the strength of account. |
| Aguero | 01-07-2018 06:17 AM | Re: eBay first item I made my first sales in .com. Now i want to list in .co.uk, but i didn't make browsing history there. Should i browse on every single eBay site before i make my first listing on it ? |

I also would highly recommend you don't list on .co.uk if your account is .com, until you meet the criteria to sell "on other ebay marketplaces". |

Your limits should appear within a month if you dont see them now. |

To stay to max 2 active listings ? When is good to make them 3-4 ? It is a low risk items.
Thanks for the limits. I know where to find them, but they dont show up. |
| SaiJin | 01-07-2018 03:24 PM | Re: eBay first item It really depends on the item and how your account is setup.
I think that increasing the amount after 1 week of items being sold is a good practice.
specially if it's a low risk. |
| Aguero | 01-07-2018 03:49 PM | Re: eBay first item Yes, items are low risk. I will try to make 3 active listings after a couple a days. |

Thanks for the limits. I know where to find them, but they dont show up. | It will shop up in due course then.
Just list your 3rd item, and a few days later your 4th item. |

I didnt know there is such criteria. Can you explain please ? | To sell outside of the UK, using an eBay UK account means you need to enable international visibility on your account, which allow you to reach clients outside of the UK.
To be eligible for this feature, you need to make sure:
a) You have an eBay account in good standing.
b) You have accumulated at least 10 positive *seller* feedback, and your feedback score is at 10.
c) Its been 90 days from the date you first sold an item successfully.
d) You meet the selling and item requirements of the international site(s) where your planning on listing (as each eBay site has a slightly different set of rules).
If you try to circumvent the above criteria, it will lead to your account being indefinitely suspended. |
| SaiJin | 01-07-2018 03:57 PM | Re: eBay first item The difference between a lot of people and me is that I can list risky items on a 0 feedback account and not just 1 or 2, more like 10+ and no problems.
I still get the 21 day hold, but that goes away after 14 days.
I'm sharing this because I have been following the stealth guide for 10 years that I've been a staff here and I just have a very strong basic to creating accounts.
So for you, I'd say 1 week wait time until the item is delivered or you get positive feedback is a good time to increase your sales |

So before i meet criteria for international sell and i am using it my account is at risk ? |
| Aguero | 01-09-2018 09:31 AM | Re: eBay first item After i choosed international shipping in the listing I had to agree with this :
I cant stand why eBay write something and after that i am able to skip it. They never said that I am not meet criteria. I am confused. Agreement for international sale

You must agree to these additional terms. This Agreement applies to all their current active offers and all their future offers. If you no longer wish to comply with the terms of this Agreement, you must end your active offers, discontinue making offers on any eBay website other than your eBay registration page, and stop submitting offers with an international shipping option.

Re: eBay first item Before you agree to the international sales - you need to try and make sure your account meets the requirement (to avoid any issues).
Sometimes it poses issues, sometimes it doesn't.
Better to be safe than sorry. |
| Aguero | 01-09-2018 10:12 AM | Re: eBay first item OK. I will change to domestic shipping only and i hope it will be fine. |
| Aguero | 01-09-2018 10:23 AM | Re: eBay first item When account was created in .de and have 3 nice feedbacks will be a red flag to list in co.uk i.e ? This way I will not skip over international selling rules.
I am asking so many questions because i have two types low risk items, one popular in .de and the other popular in .co.uk. |

Better if you stick to sales within same country of the account. :) | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:42 AM. | |
