CA account but US phone verification

As the title asks, I've got an old Canadian Ebay account on which I recently started selling and now it's asking for phone verification before listing more items. At the time of creation I added a Canadian phone number but now for this verification I would like to know if it's OK to add and verify a US phone number or is it a no no?

Same thing I want to ask for the Canadian PP attached to this account, can I use a US phone # to verify the account, it already has a VBA and VCC attached and confirmed.

Why not add a Canadian phone number again?
There are several apps that offer a free Canadian phone number. Dont take a risk. Just get one of those and add and use it instead.

Yes u can add a USA Number, dont use free VOIP number .. ebay knows about it

I thought free VOIP numbers and free app numbers detected by PP/EB??? Nevertheless can you name a few of those apps which provide a canadian number?

Pretty much every single account I create has a google voice or other free app phone number attached. That includes my 5,000/500,000 accounts.
If you know how to properly do things the type number has nothing to do with it.

ebay might not know now, but what if one day they know and do a mass clearance ?
