eBay Requesting Previous Address for Limits
Okay, I made a new thread to explain it a little better. My account is less than 30 days and I listed less than 10 items to reach the limit they initially gave me when I opened the account 10/$750. I got to that limit and it said to contact them to get a better increase. I called them to ask if it was possible and they said they needed my previous address in order to verify you are a real person. The name is being used from my business partner which is a very common name but I used a nickname. They said they couldn't find anyone with that name to the business address so they want another one with that name apparently. So I told them, acting like him, that the previous addresses I lived at were not mine and that I wasn't listed at those addresses what can I do. And they kept insisting for previous addresses in order to increase the limits, so I told them okay, blah blah blah, and they said you can call in any time once you get this info and we will help you out.
Everything I use for our with PayPal/eBay/Bank has all been verified but I'm trying to increase limits but my real question is, do I have to go through that process again after 30 days and if so, what address do I supply? |
