Default Authentic Items pulled as replica

Not to be too specific but someone spam reported my antique listings (I assume) and eBay sent a message about replicas. I assume this is what happened because I got several very rude messages from someone (seller of antiques probably using their dummy account) about the item which I just ignored. I don't have time to bicker with these people over items I know are authentic.
One of the antiques was already sold with positive feedback but now of course the buyer will get an email informing them the item was pulled. It was almost $2300.
That's not very smart of eBay, I have 100% feedback but I already transferred the money over to my bank account and got my Christmas shopping done several weeks ago. I called eBay and they "escalated" the issue but that's bull****. I guess I'll be in need of a stealth account.

I don't know. I guess that I can't believe eBay would throw off listings from an account with 100% 1000+ positive feedback on sold items that are a bit expensive.

Your leaving out a lot of details. I think you are saying someone reported your listings to eBay, eBay reviewed your items and removed a listing for an item you already sold. Now, your worried the buyer of that item will receive notification from eBay that the auction was removed. Correct? Or did the buyer file a claim against you as well?

The antique people are particularly bad d**ks when it comes to items in their category, they think they own the venue and actively work to throttle competition.

I don't know there's much you can do about it, frankly.

As for the 100% fb, EB doesn't care. Your length of time, sales history and sterling rep mean nothing to them, they're as quick to ban good sellers as bad ones.

I think he's been charged back or is afraid he will be charged back, and he's already spent the money.

I can't see as there's anything he can do about it at this point, though.

That's exactly the worry, and why wouldn't they when they get an email saying the listing has been pulled?
I know the item is authentic, every item they pulled was so obviously authentic I couldn't believe they'd pull them. These aren't items that one could ⊗⊗⊗⊗ antique with much success. EBay's advice when I asked what the proper authentication procedure is to appeal was to not list them in the future. Smh
I think I'll make a new account just to stop getting all of my listings reported.

eBay do not care a toss, a damn or SFA.

The seller is always guilty.

FOr an antique, you should have some documentation stating it's value and authenticity, you need to call them up and tell them you have proof that it's not a replica.

It's good that you have no interest in causing issues to other sellers, so yea, call eBay up and give them that documentation.

Now you also know why we have the stealth guide and it's become a necessity to operate on eBay.
