Ebay Account - no Paypal

One of my main accounts on ebay (5000/50,000) just had paypal limited. I ended all listings but do not want to lose the account. Can I wait say 3 weeks and then add a new paypal to it without losing it. I am guessing my paypal got limited by linking my ss# to a suspended paypal from 4 years ago. Worked fine for three years. Added my ssn because of $30K sales last two years, no issues last year with it and got my tax form this year. Paypal got limited 8pm tonight.

You killed the eBay account by recycling your SSN which established a hard link between your two Paypals. You can not ever use the same tax ID on two accounts or the two accounts will, without a doubt, be linked and limited at tax time.

You'd be wasting your time and resources by trying to add another PP to the eBay account after a few weeks. eBay and PP accounts are linked together by internal account ID's which the user has no control over. This means the eBay account will always be associated with the original PP it was attached to. If you were to add a new PP it would be associated with your other two limited PP's within a matter of days, and you'd end up with however much money locked inside the new PP for 180 days.

Get an EIN next time man. :/

Agreed. It's over. No way to salvage this one.

Next time use an EIN like phaz0rz said.
