:help: Does eBay ask for birthdate when you call????

I had my info in a notebook but lost it. I forgot what birthdate I put on my stealth account. I really want to call to ask for higher limits but I am worried they will ask for it.

They ask for it if you create a business account (as opposed to a personal account). At least for Sole Prop businesses.

To OP - depends. If you're calling in for a Resolution Center case or something like that, they probably won't. But if you're calling in for account sensitive information, they might. I've been asked before once or twice in these scenarios.

For limits they won’t ask. Just your name and the products you sell and where you get them from.

Its hit and miss if they do ask just hang up and call again. DIff reps act different

Your best bet is to login into PayPal and go to profile settings you’ll have the D.O.B their which should be the same DOB for your Ebay account.

DOB shows in PP now?

DOB not being accessible anywhere in PP has been an issue for years.

@OP - I'm not going to say they never ask because I don't know, but I've called 5 or 6 times for increases and haven't been asked about DOB or anything else personal. Just selling related questions like nyc said.

Yes DOB does show in UK PayPal not sure about any other countries but I’ve found the DOB in PayPal on a number of occasions and it is their.

Ah. Maybe there's some kind of UK law requiring PP to show DOB over there. DOB can't be found anywhere in USA accounts. They expect you to know your birthday, I guess.
