So i created a stealth account and its been a month . I lisyed my max 5 items , used clothing. And sold 2 out of 5 with feedback. Its going to be difficult to sell the last 3 items on there. I was wondering if it is safe to call in and ask for a higher limit since they did not up my limit after this mo nths evauluation
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Selling limits aren't usually raised at the same time evaluations are done. They're usually done in the first week or two of the month in my experience.
If you haven't been selling for a full month yet they will probably tell you to call back later about a limit increase. It's not usually dangerous to call in though. I've called in numerous times for increases without any problems.

That has been my experience (before coming to Stealth). On your 2nd or 3rd month, you can call and ask for a higher limit. When you do, they will quiz you on who you are, what you intend to sell, and so forth.
I called in after a week on 2 and got them bumped up. 1st one went to 20/1000, 2nd went to 30/3000. Funny story - the 2nd one I called in the rep was from my area (small towns) and while she found 0 evidence of who I was, she still bumped me up. Luckily i used my town and knew everything she did lol She said it's not a big deal, you just live a private life. 2 weeks later it auto bumped to 50/5000.
Well, yeah. Naturally eBay is going to have a higher level of trust for a brain surgeon compared to the rest of us scoundrels. LOL.
I wasn't saying it's impossible to have your limits bumped the first month (it frequently happens automatically for me), but there have been a couple of times I called and the rep told me to call back in a week or two after I've been selling a little longer.
Yeah, whenever I have called in they ask generic BS about how my selling is going so far. They also sometimes ask what types of things you want to sell. Basically why you feel you need an increase at this time. So have something ready to say, and whatever you say just make sure you only mention low risk items. "Just had a garage sale, clothes, books, etc"
Ive called in for higher likit increases on my resl account alot of times without issue, my main concern is if they were to ask personal questons that help them identify who you are. Granted that i dont see how they would even know wherebto start since i have the address set to a po box
