No sales after multiple revisions?

Have you ever noticed that a listing will no longer bring sales after it has been edited a few times in a row (e.g: over a 2 day period)?

Yes, definitely.

Never when I'm just adjusting the quantity, but playing around with the title/description/UPC/specifics can kill a good listing overnight. Doesn't even have to be multiple revisions in my experience. Just one will kill practically all sales.

It causes the listing to be reindexed or something like that

RIght, never touch a listing when it's live. The bots will take it down below search.

What if you end the listing, edit it and then relist?

Then it would be treated like a brand new listing. It may or may not rise to the top.

What about making sure you're happy with the listing before you activate it?
And set it to 3 days ?

All of my advice applies to Good-til-cancelled Buy it Now listings with "out of stock option" enabled.
