If buyer opened paypal claim without ebay case, does it affect Ebay or just Paypal ?

If the cases were initiated through eBay, then yes, quite possibility.

if they are just PayPal claims/disputes, I doubt anything will happen to your eBay. The two companies have been separate for awhile.

As far as I am aware no.

I stand to be corrected if I am incorrect on that, but that is my current understanding.
