Ah, you have no access to your new address?
What are your feelings about this buyer?
Will they play along with you? |

Can you do this? |

There wouldn't be any problems adding your own address as a return address, I can assure you. Doesn't matter if the address has been used on eBay before.
Alternatively, if you aren't comfortable with the risk, you can do what the person above says. Make a label outside of eBay, email it to your buyer, and upload the return tracking number to eBay.

Can anyone else confirm this, as i was under the impression using a previous address linked to a banned account causes limitations.

I don't add it as the registered address in eBay account settings, just as a return address. I'm guessing the reason eBay doesn't link sellers by return addresses is fulfillment companies. There are potentially hundreds of sellers that could be using the same warehouse, with none of those sellers associated with each other.

What about PayPal, do you add the same address?
And a home address is fine, it doesn't need to be a warehouse one?

And yeah, we use our home address which isn't a warehouse.

Add " - returns" to the end of your name and then it would be unique to eBay. If banned name was "John Smith" I would be comfortable using "John Smith - Returns". | and the safest option is to upload external label and we have peace of mind

Ahh I understand, I prefer always to have personal account it has less stress Quote:

On our personal accounts we are still able to print a label externally and upload the info to eBay, but we are no longer given the option to do that on our business accounts since eBay approves and sends a label immediately.
So if I didn't add a valid address to our business accounts all of our returns would be going to a stealth address without an opportunity for us to intervene. | | The Following User Says Thank You to karimlecavalier For This Useful Post: | |

No need to put your real name just use your real adress as a return address also what if someone had an eBay account with that adress was banned then someone new moved in and made an eBay they would be banning a lot of innocent people people move everyday
