Default providing tracking after case is opened

Is it true you cannot fight a case if you provide tracking after the case is opened? I forgot to upload tracking and the buyer opened a not received case. I added the tracking afterwards. I read this online. Not sure if it is true or not but curious about how the outcome of my case will be.

you can not add a tracking after the buyer escalated the case.

He opens the case and you have 7 days to react (including adding a tracking).

If you do not do that THEN it is to late.

I never add trackings to sales.

Make sure that the tracking shows that the item was delivered to the same POSTCODE at least. if that's not obvious from the tracking they will have to ask you for the shippinginvoice where they can see the adress or the postcode.

If you cant proide that then you loose the case

you should add tracking after case is open but not yet escalated to get Ebay involved.
has Ebay reviewed the case yet,it is usually ebay bot which check your tracking,if delivered,you win and case closed
but it does not mean he cant go to Paypal or cc issuer.

WHen a buyer opens a claim, there's an option in that claim to update your tracking.
