Default Pay fees and get unsuspended/unrestricted

Hello, so I have been selling on a stealth account, had made some sales and then got selling restriction. Now I logged in to the account after like 5 months and I called up eBay just for fun to ask if they could unrestrict my account and the lady told that I just need to pay the fees (41dollar) and then you will be able to sell again, I asked her if I can link my friends paypal account and she said it's fine, just pay the fees and you'll be able to sell items. Is this legit? Like if I add a PayPal account, pay the fees and all that stuff, will they really unrestirct my account or is it just a way for them to get money from me and suspend my account again or whatever?

Depends on what type of suspension you got.

If it was for not paying fees then generally these are pretty easy to deal with

Dealt with a similar situation once about a year or so ago, I owed about $5 payed it, and the account was reinstated the next day.

It may or may not work. It does sometimes work that way, but there is no guarantee
